Wonderful World Episode 14 Final Episode

Soo-hyun is prepared to pursue a new direction in order to reveal the truth, and she presents herself to the public as the author Eun Soo-hyun. Upon hearing about this development, Yu-ri informs the media and reaches out to as many people as possible, presenting herself as Soo-hyun’s assistant. This sets the stage for Soo-hyun and she lives up to expectations by announcing that her next book is inspired by actual events. As she continues to share with everyone that the topic will be her son’s incident, she wastes no time in disclosing that Kim Joon is actually the one responsible.

This action has finally set things in motion, and she is now heading to the police station to give her official statement. At the same time, Kim Joon learns about the situation when he is scheduled to provide his statement to the police the following day. Later in the day, Seon-yul informs Soo-hyun about the media’s response, which is in her favor.

In another location, Kim Joon is frustrated with his assistant for allowing Soo-hyun to bypass their control and disclose the information to the press. Then he instructs her to search through Seon-yul’s father’s documents to find something that could assist them in resolving the conflict before it starts. The following day, Kim Joon appears in front of the police and presents the recording of Soo-hyun’s discussion with Seon-yul’s father prior to the incident to the media.

As the media begins to accuse Soo-hyun of colluding with the opposition party and attempting to discredit Kim Joon, the situation takes a new turn. Soo-hyun quickly learns about the situation, but she is not willing to go along with Kim Joon’s schemes and will not give up on seeking justice. Afterwards, she meets with her mother who informs her of her intention to leave the city for a while. Soo-hyun allows her to leave the city and assists her.

Later in the day, Su-ho’s mother comes to see him and informs him about Go-eun’s situation. She urges him to look after Go-eun, regardless of his relationship with Soo-hyun. Soon, Seon-yul and Soo-hyun are preparing to quickly end this battle.

The following day, Soo-hyun stands in a plaza holding posters of her son, Gun-woo, as a silent form of protest to demand justice. At the same time, Seon-yul pays a visit to Kim Joon, causing him to become upset and confess that he wished Gun-woo had died instantly when his car hit him, so he wouldn’t have to deal with the current problems.

Before long, Kim Joon’s security team arrives just in time to rescue him as Seon-yul attempts to shove him off the roof. Seon-yul was physically assaulted in order to retrieve the recorder he had concealed to record Kim Joon’s confession. At the moment, Kim Joon refrains from doing anything to Seon-yul and simply leaves him lying there.

In other places, word is spreading widely about Soo-hyun’s protest, prompting Yu-ri to once more rally people to show their support for Soo-hyun. Numerous people hear the news and gather to assist Soo-hyun, and her mother-in-law also visits her to show support.

At the same time, Su ho apologizes on behalf of Soo-hyun to Kim Joon and requests him to spare his wife, pledging to air a special broadcast that same day that will be in favor of Kim Joon. Upon learning about the situation, Kim Joon’s assistant initiates a response and sends individuals to halt Soo-hyun’s protest. As Soo-hyun receives backing from numerous individuals who are supporting her in seeking justice for her son, Kim Joon’s supporters unexpectedly arrive and begin causing chaos at the protest. Out of nowhere, Seon-yul shows up and shields Soo-hyun from the attack by these individuals, as his friends join in to provide additional support for the protest and drive the attackers off.

Before long, the protest persists as additional individuals arrive and stand by her side, undeterred by the heavy rainfall. Soo-hyun’s heart is touched as she sees all the people who were influenced by her and Gun-woo’s story joining the protest in solidarity with her.

In another location, Kim Joon starts speaking at another one of his rallies and starts to attract support for himself. As Su-ho starts the news broadcast, he captures the attention of both groups standing by the billboards. Nevertheless, he surprises everyone by providing evidence that goes against Kim Joon.

Initially, he shows a video of Seon-yul from earlier in the day where Kim Joon admits to his wrongdoing, then follows it with a separate video in which he tells his secretary that it is easy to fake evidence. Even though Kim Joon’s supporters are rattled by this, they remain loyal to him until Su-ho reveals additional evidence with Gun-woo’s tablet.

He listens to the recording of Gun-woo’s last moments, in which Kim Joon is ruthless towards the child in the backseat who is crying for his mother. As people leave his rally, Kim Joon desperately pleads for their support, but the recording shatters the last bit of backing that people had for him. In another place, Soo-hyun is pleased by Su-ho.

It was discovered that Su-ho had already planned this. He and his friend kept planning in secret while also involving Seon-yul in their plans. Nevertheless, the situation did not conclude there, as Seon-yul involved Kim Joon’s secretary, who gave the last crucial information and also filmed Seon-yul’s argument with Kim Joon earlier that day.

Su-ho, speaking as a grieving father who lost his son, urges viewers to carefully consider before electing the man as president before ending the broadcast. With Su-ho stepping down and leaving a resignation letter on the platform, Kim Joon is now left without any support. The police show up and escort him away, with the incident being widely televised.

Everyone standing with Soo-hyun cheers as she finally looks up with a smile, knowing that justice has finally been served. The aftermath of this incident is grabbing headlines as all of Kim Joon’s actions are being investigated, and everyone associated with him is being arrested. Kim Joon’s trial day comes, and after hearing testimonies from his victims such as Hye-geum and Kim Joon’s secretary Seon-yul, he is ultimately sentenced to life in prison.

Soo-hyun is now content with the long-awaited justice as she remains in the courtroom and bursts into tears. In her solitude, the image of Gun-woo quickly comes to mind, asking her if she is still in pain. Soo-hyun can finally release her pain as she exits the court and runs into Su-ho.

The two can now peacefully coexist after Soo-hyun admits that she knows she left the door open, causing Gun-woo to leave the house that day. She is aware that it was thanks to this fact that Kim Joon was able to prevent Su-ho years ago. She informs him that she is aware of the suffering he has endured over the years, and believes it is time for him to finally find peace.

After hearing this, Su-ho confesses that he has always believed it was his responsibility to look after Soo-hyun and Gun-woo. Nevertheless, Soo-hyun has demonstrated to him that she is much more powerful than he had believed and it brings him tranquility in her own unique way. At the same time, Seon-yul pays one final visit to Kim Joon and informs him that his appeal will not be successful as Seon-yul will ensure that Kim Joon faces the consequences of his actions.

Afterwards, he encounters Soo-hyun by a tree that she refers to as the wishing tree. Soo-hyun affirms that this is a goodbye and advises Seon-yul to start having wishes and make sure to fulfill them. She instructs him to rejuvenate and move forward in order to discover his own happiness. Soo-hyun asks him to assure her that he is doing well when they next communicate.

As a result, the two go their separate ways and six years later, peace has returned to their lives. Go-eun has forgotten all the sad memories and now lives happily with a smile, while Su-ho visits her as her beloved son-in-law. Su-ho who has retained his job continues to motivate his colleagues in the field of journalism and stands by them as they advocate for justice.

Yu-ri has launched her own business and has discovered joy, while Soo-hyun has begun dedicating her time to an orphanage where she now cares for numerous children. Finally happy, she celebrates every occasion with them and brings joy into her and their lives.

Soo-hyun and Yu-ri have reconciled and are back to being together as sisters.

At the same time, Seon-yul has discovered his passion and is now working towards becoming a successful doctor. On his way home after a hectic day, he sees a poster advertising Soo-hyun’s book signing and decides to attend the event to meet her. He eventually reaches the event for the release of the book Wonderful World, and quickly locks eyes with Soo-hyun.

Both of them are pleased to see each other and Soo-hyun reassures her of his well-being with a message. Soo-hyun comprehends the significance of this straightforward message, while Seon-yul departs following this short interaction. inner peace is now reflected in the eyes of those who were previously in distress. The series comes to an end.

I thoroughly enjoyed this final episode. Soo-hyun, under the guise of author Eun Soo-hyun, decides to reveal the truth about her son’s incident by going public and pointing out Kim Joon as the responsible party. Kim Joon, in an attempt to cover up his involvement, resorts to desperate measures like searching for incriminating evidence and manipulating the media. The situation escalates as Soo-hyun leads a protest for justice, with overwhelming public support rallying behind her despite Kim Joon’s efforts to sabotage her. Su-ho plays a crucial role in exposing Kim Joon’s wrongdoings through strategic planning and gathering evidence to bring justice to light. With Kim Joon ultimately facing life imprisonment as a result of testimonies and evidence, Soo-hyun finds closure and reconciliation with Su-ho, while Seon-yul begins a new chapter pursuing his passion in medicine. It was a wonderful ride. I’m really going to miss this drama and must I say, I was quite impressed with Cha Eun woo’s acting. He has definitely improved over time. Overall, the series is a good 7.5/ 10 for me
