The next day, Taishin meets with the other hikers, Emiri, Akira and Yui who are talking about Takuro’s relationship with Miss Nakaba. Akira asks if he likes Miss Nakaba but Taishin replies he has never been in a relationship before and the others are in awe over this.
Just as Taishin is leaving, he overhears Takara and Miss Nakaba talking. She’s asking him out but he coldly rejects her, saying he doesn’t want to be treated as an object by her. Miss Nakaba angrily points out that his behavior is the reason he is alone then she leaves.
Takara sees him but walks past him despite Taishin trying to talk to him. After class, his friends notice he’s far away and asks what is wrong. He explains that he wants to help a senior who was kind to him in the past. They suggest he gives the senior something they would like.
Meanwhile, Takara’s friend is happy he rejected Miss Nakaba but asks why he doesn’t want to date anyone. Takara doesn’t want to tell him.
Meanwhile, Taishin goes to the jewelry store owner who immediately recognises him as the stalking kid. Taishin reiterates he’s Takara’s junior and asks him what Takara bought that made him so happy. He plans to give him something to cheer him up. The shop owner reveals Takara bought custom made jewelry but decides to make an exception for Taishin by showing him some shiny marbles which he says Takara loves for some unknown reason. Taishin buys them all.
He then gets drawn to the glass earrings Takara had suggested for him and tests it on the mirror. The shop owner thinks it suits him describing his face as attractive. Taishin is surprised to hear his face is attractive and the shop owner is surprised as well. He doesn’t know he has very beautiful eyes that shine like glass. He dramatically tells Taishin not to look at him because his eyes pull him in.
While at the bus stop, Taishin runs into the same kind man who helped him in the bus. They greet each other and Taishin excitedly tells the man about his present and the earrings he bought. The man smiles that they suit him.
The next day, he meets Takara who asks if he is joining their club. Taishin replies that he is. Takara then takes his phone and invites him to their social group telling to come for the welcoming party that day. As he’s about to leave, Taishin stops him to give him the marbles he had bought but he can’t find them in his bag. He is disappointed by this and thinks he may have forgotten them at home. Takara suddenly decides to come to his house.
Takara is on the balcony when Taishin shows him the marbles. Takara knows the store keeper told him about the marbles but Taishin explains he insisted on knowing because he wanted to cheer him up. He tells him he is not alone. Takara reveals that he had fun looking through marbles since he was a kid. It became a habit for him. He thanks Taishin and gives him one of the marbles. While Taishin is admiring it, he is unaware that Takara’s staring at him. He notices his earrings and touches it causing Taishin to panic as he asks him if he looks creepy wearing it. Takara smiles saying he does. Taishin apologizes and Takara smiles more. An unknown man holding a brief case clenches his fist tightly at the sight of the two of them together. (I know it’s the kind man. He looked creepy from the beginning)
