Seoul Blues Episodes 4-8 Final Recaps

Jung ha and Dae Young begin dating. All seems to be well until Dae Young runs into his ex boyfriend at his work place. His ex Do Jin wants to publish Jung ha’s novel and doesn’t act surprised seeing Dae Young. Dae Young is unhappy when Jung ha and meets. He warns Jung ha to stay away from Do Jin which confuses him. The three meet at a restaurant and Jung ha briefly goes to the toilet to relieve himself only to return and find Dae Young and Do Jin kissing.

He runs out and Dae Young pursues him but he’s unable to give him a good explanation for his cheating behavior. Jung ha breaks up with him, warning him not to talk to him ever again.

Dae Young and Do Jin talk about their past relationship. Dae Young was hurt after Do Jin left him without any explanation. Do Jin admits he is selfish and confesses that it’s because he wanted to test Dae Young’s love for him. Do Jin had feared he would abandon him. Unfortunately, his fears came to pass 

Meanwhile, Jung ha’s sexuality is exposed by an anonymous staff at Do Jin’s company claiming that Do Jin is pushing to publish his gay novel because they are in a relationship. Jung ha is hurt by this and finds himself at Dae Young’s house since he has no other friends. 

He relays his pain to Dae Young who gets angry hearing that Do Jin hasn’t been picking up his calls. He then meets Do Jin at his office and makes him confess that he was actually the one who started the fake rumour to tarnish Jung ha’s image. Do Jin is shocked when Dae Young reveals he had been recording him the whole time. He pleads with him but it’s too late.

The series ends as Dae young returns to Jung ha telling him he has solved the problem. Dae young apologises for hurting him and after Jung ha admits he needs him, the two of them kiss.
