The episode begins with a flash back of Jung won and Woo jae having a private wedding just by themselves in a music theater.
Then cuts to the scene of Tae heon barging into the house to summon Woo jae to the station on account of his relationship with Cha Eun sae. However at the questioning, Woo jae answers everyone of Tae heon’s questions without flinching, saying that Chae Eun Sae was his stalker and if they had checked the call logs, they would have discovered he never once called her whereas she was the one always doing the calling. Tae heon asks him why he was at her building complex and he replies his studio is there as well. When Tae heon mentions her pregnancy, Woo jae lets them know she had a sponsor and laughs when he sees they were clueless about that. Tae heon and his partner are mad at him because it’s clear he’s looking down on them. Tae heon requests a sample of his dna to check if he’s the child’s father. Woo jae has no choice but to agree to it.
Woo jae is set free much to Tae heon’s annoyance. He’s convinced Woo jae is the killer and is angry he had nothing on him. (I think it’s just personal) While heading home, Woo jae is worried, remembering the last call he had with Chae Eun Sae.
At a meeting with her superiors, Jung won doesn’t mention that her husband was questioned. Her colleague tells their superior of the rumor that Cha Eun sae and Assembly man Mo were lovers. But surprisingly, the superior lashes out on her for bringing such a thing up. (He’s working for Assembly man Mo)
Meanwhile, Tae heon is going through Woo jae’s questioning video, certain that there’s something he has to hide. He and his partner find out Cha Eun sae had no money left in her account which is odd for a popular actress of her caliber.
Woo jae meets with Jung won and her colleagues while they are coming out of the meeting. He brings with him food and Jung Won’s colleagues are grateful except for Jung won herself who isn’t happy at all. She talks with him privately and the two argue with Jung won asking why the police questioned him and what he was doing at Cha Eun sae’s building. Woo jae admits he was the last person to call Cha Eun sae causing Jung won to nearly collapse. However, Jung Won’s superior and the news station CEO happened to run into them, putting an end to their conversation. After exchanging pleasantries, Woo jae leaves.
Later that day, Jung won and her team meets with Cha Eun sae’s brother at a gambling den requesting for an interview. Cha Eun sae’s brother refuses. Just then, Zeus sends Cha Eun sae information about Cha Eun sae’s brother playing at an illegal gambling site. Jung won uses this information to threaten him but the brother is stubborn. He rushes out when he gets a call that his car was scratched. Jung Won follows them only to meet Tae heon and his partner outside. They had given the brother the fake call about his car to get him to come outside. Jung won is surprised to see Tae heon and tells Jung won she was speaking to Eun sae’s brother first but Tae heon doesn’t budge. He threatens Cha Eun sae’s brother by saying he was a suspect because he physically assaulted his sister few days to her death. Jung Won also threatens him because of his debts. Cha Eun sae’s brother reveals that she already thought she was going to die because a murderer was after her. Jung won has to leave after recieving a text from the technician.
Next we see Cha Eun sae’s brother driving away. He calls Assembly Mo telling him he’s being harassed by Jung won and Tae heon. Assembly man Mo suggests they meet up.
Jung won goes to the tech expert she gave the phone to but he tells her he wasn’t able to find anything on it. Jung won then drives back home only to find Woo jae rushing off somewhere. She asks him where he’s going to and he replies he is going to check the paternity result of Cha Eun sae’s child. Jung won offers to drive him to the police station. When they arrive, they meet Tae heon who tells them that the test turned out to be incorrect. Woo jae is not the father of Cha Eun sae’s baby. Having gotten her answer, Woo jae suggests they leave but he asks Jun Won if she still intends to stay and talk to Tae heon since they know each other but Jung won denies knowing Tae heon. This no doubt hurts Tae heon and he sarcastically comments on how lovely a couple they look and that he would be professional with her from then on. He leaves in anger.
Back home, Jung won still confronts Woo jae on his relationship with Cha Eun sae asking why he had two phones and never told her about it but he insists that someone is trying to set him up. The next day, Jung won questions her psychiatrist secretary. The secretary apologises for her mistake. She says she sent the message from the computer but had no idea how Jung won was the only one who got the wrong address. As they are talking, the secretary gasps in surprise at something she sees. Jung won turns around to see what made her surprised and is shocked to see a billboard message displaying news that Cha Eun sae had an affair with Woo jae
Suspecting the tech expert of leaking the news, Jung Won immediately rushes to his office but finds the place locked. She then calls Zeus and tells him to trace his phone number. Meanwhile, Tae heon who has also discovered the scandal sees Jung won entering her car, rushing off to go somewhere. He follows her with a cab. As for Woo jae, his studio is been hounded by reporters. His father who is in the office with him asks him if he’s innocent. He says that he is but his father doesn’t believe him.
Woo jae then heads outside to face the reporters. He denies the allegation, saying that he would only love his wife. Meanwhile, Tae heon follows Jung won until night where she stops at a game center. There she finds the tech expert and starts chasing him but he runs away from her, even hitting her when she gets close. Just as he’s about to escape, Tae heon appears and hits him much to Jung Won’s surprise. Together, they accost him and the tech expert replies that it was Woo jae who met him and bribed him to delete the video on the phone and lie to Jung won. However, he still had the evidence on his lap top.
Tae heon waches the video first before Jung won. Before she watches, he tells her to brace herself. Jung won clicks the video and she’s shocked by what she sees. Woo jae was in Cha Eun sae’s apartment. The two were lovers, kissing and romancing each other. Jung won is shocked speechless and cries due to her husband’s betrayal while Tae heon sadly watches her.
Suddenly, Woo jae calls Jung won to assure her that the scandal is false and that he has definitely been set up but Jung won who can see the evidence of his deciet right before her eyes laughs bitterly and cuts the call. That night, she is in a headless state, crossing the road without any thought to her life as all she can think about is how Woo jae probably stabbed Cha Eun sae to cover up the affair. She watches hopelessly at a billboard video where Woo jae tells the reporters that he would only love her (what a liar)
Meanwhile, Woo jae gets frustrated when he can no longer call Jung won since her phone is switched off. He is taken aback when Tae heon approaches him to tell him that Jung won had already seen the video of his affair with Cha Eun sae. Woo jae’s usually calm facade fades.
When he returns home, he is left to face Jung Won’s wrath. She’s so angry that she smashes plates in the kitchen as she asks why he cheated on her. He responded that it was because he felt lonely. Ever since they got married, she never had time for him. Jung Won shouts that his excuse did not merit cheating. She ignores the tears in his eyes tells him that he’s her number one suspect in Cha Eun sae’s death and that she would do everything in her power to expose him. After their debacle, she leaves the house with her luggage.
Jung won is so devastated during the drive. She tries to throw her ring away but in the end, she can’t bring herself to do it. Woo jae also cries on his own.
The next day, Woo jae is in an apartment. Just then, Cha Eun sae’s brother enters and Woo jae asks how he knew the password to the apartment. The brother replies it was Cha Eun sae that told him and that it’s only she and her lover that would know the password. The brother attacks Woo jae and threatens to expose him if he doesn’t bribe him but Woo jae fights back and also threatens to unveil pictures of his assault to Cha Eun sae which she had sent to him.
Meanwhile, Tae heon is investigating security footages on Woo jae and discovers that on the day of Cha Eun sae’s murder, he had taken a woman to a restaurant. He and his partner wonder if he was seeing another woman who could be the real murderer. They head to the restaurant and ask the waiter if he recognized the woman that came with Woo jae that day but the waiter doesn’t.
Meanwhile, at the news station, Jung won is determined to cover her husband’s story much to her superior’s surprise and some of her colleagues dissaproval. However, she tells her superior that if she does this, it would make her programme’s ratings rise. She also informs them that she moved out of her husband’s house.
Moments later, one of Jung Won’s colleague break the news about a pastor whose parishioner died during his service and he did nothing. This makes Jung won recall how she abandoned Cha Eun sae’s murder scene unsure if she had really died. Nervously, she heads to the restroom panicking when she sees imaginary blood on her hand but another colleague comes to comfort her.
Tae heon goes to investigate that scene of Cha Eun sae’s murder when he comes across Jung Won’s car at the parking lot. She’s actually in a therapy session with her psychiatrist. He goes to Cha Eun sae’s apartment and notices something strange among her glass cups.
Jung won is coming out from the therapist office when she’s met by Tae ho who summons her to the station for questioning. While there, he brings out her necklace and shows it to Jung Won saying that her necklace was found in Cha Eun sae’s murder scene. Jung won Is shocked and Tae ho goes ahead to ask if she had seen Cha Eun sae when she died. Jung Won cannot speak.
