The episode begins with Seo Jung won, a feisty reporter, spying on a corrupt politician who is working with a journalist to write negative articles against his opponent. Jung won barges in on their meeting with a camera man in order to expose their alliance. The assembly man caught red handed says her father in law won’t be happy with what she’s doing but Seo Jung won could care less.
At her show nothing uncovered, Jung won exposes the corrupt politician. She also talks about putting a stop to the influence of politicians on the media. After she’s done, the news crew applaud her performance. She stares at the newscaster reporting the nine o clock news and the staff beside her encourages her, telling her she would become like that newscaster soon.
The journalist who was caught happens to be Jung Won’s colleague. He complains to his superior about her. The superior tells him he should be grateful his face was blurred so that no one knew who he was. Seo Jung approaches them and he verbally insults her but Seo Jung has no regrets over what she did. When the journalist storms off, her superior tells her she only targeted him because she knew he wanted to replace her with him on the show. But Seo Jung reminds him sternly that Nothing uncovered is her show and that no one would take it from her.
At night, we see detective Tae heon and his partner chasing a criminal down the street. Desperate to escape, the criminal even holds a random woman hostage threatening to stab her if they didn’t let him go but with teamwork, Tae heon and his partner manage to subdue him. When they get to the police station, both get immersed in Jung Won’s show, especially Tae heon’s partner who thinks she’s really cool.
That night, Jung won is talking to a mysterious hacker who gives her information. She’s curious to know who he really is but he tells her not to bother finding out. After the call, she meets with her loving husband Seol Woo jae who dotes on her. The two go to visit his father Seol Pan ho but the visit doesn’t go well as Seol Pan ho is angry at her for exposing his friend. He says he isn’t surprised by her attitude due to her mediocre background. Woo jae immediately defends his wife citing how his father doesn’t like her but had only agreed to their marriage because he had threatened he wouldn’t marry anyone apart from her. He tells his father he has been pretending all along. This angers Seol Pan ho. His reaction makes Jung won uneasy.
When they arrive home, Jung Won tells her husband that he shouldn’t have talked back to his father but Woo jae responds that he couldn’t let his father look down on her. To cheer her up, he gifts Jung won an expensive necklace to celebrate the third year anniversary of her show Nothing uncovered. Afterwards, the two make love.
The next day at the news station, Jung won and her colleagues watch the exposed politician Assemblyman Mo bow his head and publicly apologize for his corrupt practices. Her colleagues however are afraid he would try to get back at her but Jung won tells them she’s a step ahead of him.
Jung won is about to enter the company when he mystery hacker delivers texts her that he has more incriminating evidence on Assembly Man Oh. Meanwhile, she’s unaware that a woman is watching her as she hurriedly enters the police station. The woman is an actress Cha Eun sae and she approaches Jung won in the restroom, telling her she’s a fan of hers. She also tells her to ignore the rumors claiming she’s Assembly man Mo’s lover especially because she has a boyfriend who is a writer like her husband. Both of them would soon her married. She sees the necklace on Jung Won’s neck and gets a little unsettled. The two end up taking a photo together.
That night it’s raining when Jung won gets a tip off from the mystery hacker about a criminal Ye jin. However when she tracks the hide out, she is shocked by what she sees, the corpse of a woman hanging on a window. Alarmed, Jung won rushes to the woman’s apartment to check if she is alive but unfortunately, she’s dead. Jung won panics but still manages to call the police. It’s detective Tae hyeon and his partner that arrive at the scene.
Jung won is taken to the police station where Tae hyeon questions her and she tells him everything she knows. But things get complicated when it’s discovered that the woman who died was Assembly man Mo’s housekeeper. Assembly man appears in the station accusing Jung won of having a hand in his housekeeper’s death.
At her home, Jung won is so traumatized that she’s unable to sleep. Her husband tries comforting her so she decides to see a therapist. Meanwhile, Tae heon and his partner investigate the housekeeper’s apartment. Tae heon finds a journal about Assemblyman Mo. Tae heon’s partner thinks the housekeeper may have been his fanatic.
Jung won goes to see a therapist but she doesn’t fully open up to her. The therapist shows her a video clip of Jung won talking on her show. she’s a huge fan of hers and has always admired how she exposed evil politicians. She tells her she’s serious in helping her recover so she can continue her work
Assembly Mo is now on a mission to destroy Jung Won’s reputation branding her as someone who killed his housekeeper. Jung won confronts rival No Ji oh for writing a defaming article about her on the order of Assembly man Mo. However, No Ji oh tells her she can do nothing against him. Jung won starts recieving nasty messages from people especially one disturbing text telling her to uncover her husband’s secret.
A month later, the text about uncovering her husband pops up again that Jung won has to ask Woo jae if he is hiding something from her. Woo jae gets hurt by her question so she apologises promising never to question him like that again.
Jung won confides in her therapist that her reporter father was murdered. It was what resulted in her trauma. Later at the news station, Actress Cha Eun sae calls Jung won over to her house. Thinking she’s about to get an exclusive, instead Cha Eun sae shocks her by revealing that she and her husband Woon jae are lovers. Jung Won refuses to believe and Cha Eun sae does not care to provide her proof, telling her to find out by herself if she’s lying or not.
Jung Won realizes she’s the one sending her the texts.However, Jung won calls her a nobody unworthy of her time. This annoys Cha Eun sae so much that she shows Jung won a pregnancy sonogram telling her she’s three months pregnant but Jung won doesn’t believe her husband could be the father. After all, Cha Eun sae was rumored to be Assembly man Mo’s lover. Enraged Cha Eun sae slaps her but Jun Won doesn’t retaliate. But when she’s alone in the elevator, she completely breaks down, her tough facade crumbling immediately.
Tae oh sees Jung won standing aimlessly outside the police station. He asks her what she wants and she replies she came to get information on the YesiJin case. Tae oh tells her he’s too busy to attend to her so Jung won starts to leave but she almost gets run over by a car because she isn’t paying attention but she’s saved by Tae hyeon.
Concerned for her, Tae hyeon offers to drop her off. They arrive in front of her house. He leaves the car to get some drugs while Jung won answers her husband’s call. Won jae tells her he wouldn’t be home that night because he has to finish his work at the studio. Jung won gets disappointed. Tae oh returns to the car and sees her pale face. She quickly thanks him for his help and enters her house but gets even more disappointed to see all the decorations she had made in the house to celebrate her husband’s published novel go to waste.
The next day, Jung won tracks her husband from his studio to a gynecology hospital worried that he wanted to check on his unborn baby’s welfare but she gets relieved to see that he had only entered a therapist’s office.
She returns to the news station and her colleagues note that she is still wearing the same clothes from yesterday. They ask her about the scope she got from Cha Eun sae but she brushes it aside as nothing.
That night, she is sent a message from her therapist office to meet at a new place for their appointment but when she arrives there, she encounters a horrible sight, Cha Eun sae’s dead body lying in a pool of her own blood.
