NCT’s Jaehyun is set to enlist in the military for his mandatory service on November 4. He is a vital member of NCT, renowned for his smooth vocals, powerful dance skills, and striking visuals. Jaehyun made his acting debut in 2022 with the romantic drama Dear M, where he played the lead role.
On September 26, SM Entertainment confirmed that Jaehyun would enlist as an active-duty soldier. The agency revealed that he has applied to join the Army Band and has received acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration.
To ensure safety and minimize congestion, the agency announced that there would be no official events on the day of his enlistment at the recruit training center, where many soldiers and their families will be present. Earlier this year, fellow NCT member Taeyong also began his military service.
Jaehyun is a core member of NCT 127, which includes Taeyong, Johnny, Doyoung, Mark, Haechan, Jungwoo, and currently inactive member WinWin. The group is celebrated for its dynamic music and electrifying performances, with hits like “Simon Says,” “Kick It,” and their breakout track “Cherry Bomb.”
On August 26, 2024, Jaehyun made his solo debut with the album J and will also appear in the upcoming film You Will Die After Six Hours and the 2025 drama I Believe You.
