Boss leaves Jun ho and Hye Jin to talk in private. At first, Hye Jin seems annoyed that Jun ho cried asking why he did that but he doesn’t tell her, Instead, he urges her to be honest with herself. Hye jin gives in to her emotions, revealing that for a while, she regretted she was ever his tutor, she wished she were the young girl who had a crush on him in high school. She regretted that they weren’t the same age and that she dated her co worker. She begins to cry heavily. Even as her friend’s husband serves her some food, she’s unable to eat.
When Jun ho and Hye Jin leaves, Boss stays behind at the restaurant even after it’s closed, unburdening him problems to the owner, the husband of Hye Jin’s friend who advices him to persevere. It’s raining when Jun ho and Hye Jin return to the academy. Hye jin refuses to talk to him so he decides to tell her the reason why he cried. In private, he apologises and tries to reassure her of his love but Hye Jin is determined to know why he cried.
He finally admits that he was overly self confident, not realising the consequences of his actions. He always praised himself for his achievement but it was actually due to her and his parents support. Now that he is no longer under their wings, he felt helpless by this incident. He feels he hasn’t truly grown up and says she hasn’t changed even when he told her he loved her. He tells her it’s time to give him his long awaited diploma.
They stand in front of the hall of fame board and Jun ho promises to support her in another career path but she reminds him she’s thirty five years old. Jun ho isn’t deterred. That night is a difficult night for them as each are in their own apartment burdened by their current predicament.
The next day, Ms Kim tries to reassure a worried boss that other tutors haven’t been entirely affected by the scandal. But when he tells her about Ms Woo’s betrayal, she is shocked. Meanwhile, Ms Woo is still trying to win other teachers over to her side.
Cheong mi is surprised that Jun ho still turned up to work even though he has no class. She figures he came by to settle the score between him and Myeong Jun. No doubt, Myeong Jun comes in to work and immediately makes a sarcastic jab towards Jun ho. Jun ho walks up to him and confronts him. Myeong Jun says he’s disrespectful to his seniors. Jun ho asks what he can do to remedy that. He then apologises for his rudeness the previous day but Myeong Jun isn’t satisfied with his apology so Jun ho gets over dramatic with it which makes Myeong Jun uncomfortable. Jun ho tells him he sent him a mail which turns out to be useful teaching techniques. Cheong mi is surprised they didn’t fight.
Later that day, Myeong Jun who is uncomfortable asks Jun ho what he is plotting. Jun ho admits it’s because he wants the instructors to stay in the academy. For that, he is willing to do anything. Myeong Jun asks why he’s going so far Jun ho replies it’s because he likes Hye Jin and doesn’t want her to feel guilty for ruining the academy. At first, Myeong Jun acts difficult but it seems he later has a change of heart.
Mr Pyo asks Director Choi if she was responsible for the Hye Jin and Jun ho’s scandal but she simply warns him to focus on teaching his new students and minding his own business. Meanwhile, Mr Yoon informs Ms Woo that Jun ho might offer Myeong Jun something. She has help help clear up her desk and reset her lap top. While he’s doing this, Mr Yoon is reminded of Ms min’s words concerning Ms Woo but disregards it.
Meanwhile, many students have left the academy. Only few students are left in Hye Jin’s class. Jun ho meets Mr Yoon while he is parking Ms Woo’s things. Mr Yoon is sarcastic as he says that he won’t listen to his apology but Jun ho isn’t here to apologise to him. He wants to give him a chance, to stop sinking further into the terrible thing he is doing due to his jealousy. He accuses Mr Yoon of acting like this because Hye Jin doesn’t like him. Mr Yoon thinks she used him knowing he liked her but Jun ho reiterates that he is only justifying his wrong actions. Mr Yoon warns him against disrespecting him reminding him that he was once his tutor but Jun ho retorts that he is only a boyfriend protecting his girlfriend from a bully. To Mr Yoon’s shock, he reveals that he purposely told Myeong Jun to help him to see how far he, Mr Yoon would go to ruin Hye Jin’s career but seeing how he immediately told Ms Woo, he now has his answer.
Jun ho meets with Ms Woo and she asks him to join her team but he insults her saying he knows the reason why her academy got ruined. It’s because of her dubious methods Ms woo is annoyed and tells him to go home and reflect on his mistake but he points out that she’s the one who should reflect on herself since she was the one who stole Hye Jin’s materials and even started the rumor about them. Ms Woo looses her temper and Jun ho says that her being angry is how Hye Jin feels but in the end, she will always be better than her and she, Ms Woo would go down once again. Ms Woo promises to deal with him but Jun ho doesn’t mind. She storms off in anger.
Jun ho’s mother is surprised to find him drunk in their home. He hugs her saying he would like to spend time with her but then irritates his mother when he brings up Hye Jin’s name pleading with her to be good to her.
During their date at a burger shop, Jun ho tells Hye Jin what happened with Ms Woo. He admits he got her angry because she was being arrogant when trying to ruin their lives. He promises Hye jin to prove her innocence. After eating, Jun ho escorts Hye Jin to the academy before secretly meeting with Mr Pyo. The two men stroll as they talk about Hye Jin’s circumstances. Hye Jin’s students have been transferred to Mr Pyo and she seems okay with that but is planning to get them back soon.
Ms Woo calls Hye Jin’s teaching assistant on phone to ask her to join her while another female tutor informs Hye Jin she will be resigning. When she asks if it’s because of Ms Woo, the woman admits it.
There is so much going on and it’s nearly the last episode. Why do I feel like the bad ones will get away with their plan. Anyway, thanks for reading. It’s going to be nostalgic once this series ends.
