For the next fifteen years, Sol avidly avoids Sun Jae so he doesn’t know she exists. But during the dinner party, Sun Jae who is now a famous actor had noticed her stealing her Boss purse and when they run into each other, he confronts her about it. But all Sol can do is stare at him with tears in her eyes. He’s about to call the police on her but she runs away grabbing the red envelope on the ground but when she gets home, she realises that she had taken the wrong envelope. The one she is with is actually the nominee list for best drama which Sun Jae was to present at the award but he ends up embarrassing himself by saying the wrong thing.
Meanwhile, Sun jae’s manager and In hyuk are laughing at him because of his embarrassment but Sun Jae puts the blame on the mysterious woman. The thirteen year old stalker from before tries to enter his apartment but she flees before the security can catch her.
Meanwhile, the rude actor has backed out of the movie. Impulsively, Hyun ju suggests that Sun Jae take the role much to Sol’s disagreement. Hyun ju even mistakenly sends Sun jae the script that Sol personally wrote to his email. The script is actually about their love story and when Sun jae reads it, he begins to cry, shocking himself. He decides he wants to act in Sol’s movie and schedules a meeting with her and the boss but after finding out, she is the ‘thief’ from before, he is ready to decline the movie but to his shock, Sol rejects him first, saying she doesn’t want him acting in her movie or in any of the movie she writes.
This hits at Sun jae’s ego and he tries to get Sol to cast him in the movie. He even uses her resignation letter to threaten her but nothing works. Sun Jae even goes as far as telling Sol he would act for free. Still she doesn’t budge and this makes him the butt of in Hyuk and his manger’s joke.
One day, Sol’s grandma goes missing and while everyone is searching desperately for her, she actually ends up in Sun jae’s father, Mr Ryu’s restaurant. Despite her dementia, she recognizes him immediately and the two chat up with Mr Ryu boasting about how popular his son is now. Sun Jae enters just then and Sol’s grandma mistakes him for her husband. As she is talking to him, a picture of her with Sol falls from her dress. Mr Ryu sees the picture with a contact number written at the back.
Tae Seong and Sol are at the police station going through surveillance cameras when Sol’s mother calls to let her know that her grandmother has been found and that the restaurant owner who found her would be driving her back home.
While the thirteen year old stalker is running away from the security, she collides into Kim Young soo and gets scared by his menacing gaze.
Tae Seong drops Sol home and when he’s gone, Sun Jae arrives but Sol mistakes him for stalking her and tells him adamantly that he wouldn’t be cast in her movie but to her embarrassment, Sun Jae is only dropping her grandma home. Sol’s mother comes by thanking Sun Jae. She invites him for dinner but when he declines, she has Sol take him out to buy tea.
While at the coffee shop, Sun Jae tries to subtly make Sol cast him in her movie but she’s stubborn. He sees a group of girls giggling towards him so he calls them to give them his autograph but surprisingly, they don’t know him. They only wanted him to buy them cigarettes. Sun Jae sends them away embarrassed but Sol has a good laugh from it and Sun Jae stares at her noting it’s the first time he has seen her laugh.
He walks her home and tells her that their meeting seems to be fated since they were even neighbors before but Sol rejects it. Sun Jae then tells her there is really nothing she can do if he wants to star in her movie but Sol pleads with him not to do that because she doesn’t want to put them both in an uncomfortable position.
Sun Jae watches her leave but feels a stab in his chest as a memory of him watching her like he did now resurfaces in his mind. Sol gets home but is surprised when her grandma tells her she did good by going to Mr Ryu’s restaurant because she knows she missed Sun Jae.
In her private moment, Sol admits to herself that she misses him and now after seeing him again, she wants so badly to be with him but knows she can’t.
Meanwhile, Hyun ju is upset with Geum for being a lackadaisical Dad. She grabs a lottery ticket he left on his clothes (it’s actually winning ticket numbers Sol had given him in the past)
Sol quits her job when her Boss decides to cast Sun Jae. Hyun ju tries to understand why she did that but she blames her for putting her in this situation by sending her script to Sun Jae. Sol leaves in a sad mood. To cool off, Hyun ju plays the ticket numbers but when she wins, she faints in shock. Sun Jae hears of Sol quitting and isn’t happy about it
Meanwhile, Tae Seong questions the thirteen year old stalker who ran into Young Soo. Thankfully, she had escaped when Young Soo tried to kidnap her. Through CCTV footage, him and his partners are able to trace his whereabouts. (I’m curious. Where is Tae Seong’s father. Did he die? Is that why Tae Seong suddenly became a police man?)
Sol goes to the amusement park. Her memories of Sun Jae is everywhere and she can’t help but get emotional. Meanwhile, Sun Jae is also at the amusement park for a schedule but his co actress didn’t arrive due to a delay so he is set to leave but he coincidentally sees Sol entering a ferris wheel and joins her inside. Sol is shocked by his presence. Sun Jae convinces her that he didn’t stalk her but he believes they are fated considering how they keep running into eachother but Sol refuses to talk to him and Sun Jae asks why she dislikes him. Sol responds with her own question, asking him why he is set on acting in the movie when he has better offers. Sun Jae replies that after reading her script, he resonated with it. He ends up having dreams and feels like he has lived the life in her script.
Sol is surprised by this but then tells him that he will die if he insists on mixing up with her. Sun Jae is confused by this. The ferris wheel gets shaky and Sol ends up in Sun jae’s arms and he jokes that they could really end up dying together.
