In Episode 11 of Good Partner, Eun-kyung and Jae-hui become more connected as Eun-kyung actively tries to be there for her daughter. Nevertheless, upon her office return, the CEO subtly implies that she should consider resigning by suggesting she go on a vacation and insinuating that the company could manage without her. At approximately the same time, she gets a phone call from Jae-hui’s teacher, letting her know that Jae-hui is having difficulties at school.
At the same time, Yu-ri is given a new case related to a young student who is being accused of adultery. The student claims he was unaware that the woman was married, however, the evidence implicating him is strong. Feeling uncertain about what to do next, Yu-ri thinks about asking Eun-kyung for advice at first but changes her mind upon realizing that Eun-kyung is about to go on vacation.
During the late hours, Yu-ri starts to miss Eun-kyung and eventually seeks advice from Woo-jin. Woo-jin proposes that the student could have been deceived, and it is up to Yu-ri to reveal the truth. Recalling that her client had talked about meeting the woman on a dating app, Yu-ri starts to investigate with Eun-ho’s assistance, while Eun-kyung and Jae-hui get ready for their camping trip.
Eun-ho acts as Yu-ri’s replacement while they search for the woman’s profile on the dating app. He encounters the woman, who openly attempts to entice him while her husband covertly collects proof against Eun-ho, just like he did with Yu-ri’s customer. They quickly verify that the pair are scammers who deceive individuals and make money from compensation via legal actions. Before, Yu-ri had told her client not to say sorry to the man, because it would imply accepting fault. The husband goes to see the student for money but Yu-ri tells him to remain firm.
While Eun-kyung and Jae-hui relax on their vacation, Jae-hui often senses her father’s absence. Eun-kyung continues to look at her phone, coming to the realization that she may be more expendable than she initially believed.
The husband shows up at the law firm the next day to confront Eun-ho about allegedly having an affair with his wife. Eun-ho and Yu-ri give Woo-jin a quick update on their secret mission, and they agree to capture the woman red-handed. When Eun-ho sends a text to the woman, the couple is thrilled, believing they have caught him.
But, when the woman goes to see Eun-ho, Yu-ri and her client succeed in making her admit to the fraud, which compels her to request her husband to withdraw the legal actions. The case is finally concluded.
Afterwards, Yu-ri is joined by Woo-jin and Eun-ho to celebrate her first individual victory. While heading home, she attempts to reach Eun-kyung by phone, but Eun-kyung doesn’t pick up.
In another place, Eun-kyung tries too hard to fill the role of a father figure for Jae-hui, who misses having one, and this leads to an accident during Jae-hui’s bike ride. In the hospital, Jae-hui finally reveals her longing for her father, causing Eun-kyung to feel unable to help. Noticing a missed call from Yu-ri, she returns the call for a chat about work and family troubles.
The episode concludes as Woo-jin requests the CEO to transfer ownership of the company to him, exposing his intention to seize control.
