Dear Hyeri Korean Drama Episodes 11-12 Final Recaps

In Episode 11 of Dear Hyeri, the story opens with flashbacks of Eun-ho and Hyun-oh’s past relationship as they reconnect after four years apart. Hyun-oh reaches out to Eun-ho’s inner child, and young Eun-ho shares everything about Hye-ri, explaining how unhappy she’s been. Meanwhile, Joo-yeon grapples with the reality of his brief romance. Eun-ho visits a colleague at the parking station and opens up about Hye-ri’s situation. Joo-yeon finds her there, and they agree to go on a final date for a “good breakup.”

Later, Eun-ho returns to her job with renewed confidence and shares her “good breakup” experience with Hyun-oh, who tries to stay calm and supportive as her boyfriend. They both leave work early, and that evening, Eun-ho and Joo-yeon have their farewell date, where Joo-yeon finally decides to let Eun-ho go and start moving forward.

The following day, Hyun-oh takes Eun-ho to meet his family during a family photo session. Eun-ho is warmly received, and the grandmothers seem to approve of her. Meanwhile, we discover that Jae-yong has been demoted for publishing an inaccurate story, leading to a business owner’s job loss. He’s been avoiding calls from the owner’s son, afraid to confront the fallout. Simultaneously, Eun-ho lands a substitute gig for the 7 p.m. news slot, proving her talents.

At Media N Seoul, Hye-yeon asks Joo-yeon if her absence would make a difference, and he responds that her presence or absence wouldn’t change much. Hye-yeon then submits her resignation without revealing her reasons. As Eun-ho shines in her new role, she later meets with Hyun-oh, where Jae-yong asks him to meet with the business owner’s son on his behalf. Frustrated, Hyun-oh agrees to the meeting.

In Episode 12 of Dear Hyeri, Jae-yong intercepts a truck headed for Hyun-oh, taking the impact himself. Hyun-oh rushes to the hospital, soon joined by the team leader. When the press director asks Hyun-oh to fill in for the 9 p.m. news slot while Jae-yong is hospitalized, he initially declines, feeling that Jae-yong’s sacrifice saved his life. Later, he asks Eun-ho for some space, and she supports him, understanding the weight of the situation.

Meanwhile, Hye-yeon has joined PPS, where she quickly connects with Eun-ho, who explains Hye-ri’s challenges. At Media N Seoul, it’s clarified that Joo-yeon’s earlier comment meant he wouldn’t feel Hye-yeon’s absence because he could still stay in touch over the phone.

Back at work, tensions rise as Hyun-oh continues to refuse the 9 p.m. news slot, even though Jae-yong’s condition is reportedly stable. Eun-ho finally persuades him to accept the role, so Jae-yong will have a position to return to, and Hyun-oh agrees. The broadcast goes off smoothly, and later, Hyun-oh and Eun-ho enjoy quality time together.

Jae-yong visits his mother, urging her to value life and make efforts to recover. Soon after, he returns to his lively self and looks forward to resuming his position, which Hyun-oh gladly supports. Joo-yeon eventually contacts Hye-yeon through Eun-ho and humorously discovers she had blocked him.

In a parallel scene, Eun-ho visits her therapist, who confirms her disorder is resolved, marking the end of her therapy journey. Eun-ho decides to gather everyone who knew Hye-ri for a final farewell. At Hyun-oh’s home, friends gather to honor Hye-ri’s memory. Romance sparks between Joo-yeon and Hye-yeon, and Hyun-oh proposes to Eun-ho, bringing joy to his grandmothers, who are pleased to see him settling down.
