At home, Natsume is bothered by Sahashi’s coldness towards his brother and asks if he hates his family. Sahashi replies that he doesn’t care about them and refuses sternly to talk further on the subject.

Natsume has lunch with Tenma and he reveals the reason for Sahashi’s coldness. When they were young, he was often sick so his mother spent all her time with him. And with their father setting up his business abroad, Sahashi was always alone and so learned to rely only on himself. However, Tenma reveals he is aware that Natsume and Sahashi are lovers and sees Natsume as an obstacle to him convincing Sahashi to be with his family.

So, that night, Natsume texts Sahashi not to pick him up at work but he still shows up and ends up meeting Natsume’s mother and sister who have arrived to visit him. They go drinking and Natsume reveals their relationship. His mom and sister are supper supportive, even teasing the two. Natsume’s mom encourages them to go to a popular festival. However, on their way home, Sahashi and Natsume get into a big disagreement as Natsume wants Sahashi to visit his parents and even though Sahashi insists he’s fine being with just him, Natsume doesn’t budge. That night, Sahashi doesn’t come home.

The next day, Natsume runs into Harukawa in a restaurant and tells him what happened. Harukawa empathizes with him and suggests they go to the festival together. Thankfully, it’s enough to cheer up Natsume. He thanks him but to his surprise, Harukawa reveals it was Sahashi who told him to take Natsume to the festival in other to cheer him up. Natsume is touched and says sadly that he is only doing this because he cares for Sahashi. To his surprise, Sahashi appears and hugs him. After thanking Harukawa who then leaves, the two finally clear the air. Natsume feels dejected because he can’t be a family to Sahashi but the latter assures him that being with him has made him know what family is like. Turns out he and his brother had talked and he encourages Tenma to handle the business on his own. He can’t follow him because his passion is in makeup.

After hearing this, Natsume feels relieved and promises Sahashi to make him happy. Then they kiss passionately under fireworks.

In the final episode, Natsume congratulates Sahashi for becoming a full fledged make up artist. However, when his brother Tenma urgently needs a model for his brand because his went MIA, Sahashi is asked to step in. Sahashi agrees only if Natsume does his make up. Afterwards, the show became a success.

However, this results in Sahashi getting offers to model again. Even his old modelling colleagues have started to reach out to him. Natsume is not happy about this since he just became a make up artist. Not only that, he accepted a modelling offer. Natsume is determined not to let Sahashi return to modeling so during dinner, he challenges Sahashi. Anyone who loosese in sales must do whatever the winner wants. Sahashi agrees but becomes disheartened when Natsume adds another clause. Until the challenge ends, they are rivals. They would not engage in any flirting or physical contact.

The game begins and Natsume ends up being jealous watching Sahashi converse with his female friends. He feels lonely due to the distance but perseveres. However, in the end, he doesn’t win. Sahashi does but Natsume gets awarded for his hardwork. To celebrate, the staff, including Harukawa and Tanoushi have dinner where Natsume gives a heartfelt speech about how much he loved his job.

Sahashi texts him to meet at a beautiful water fountain. They eventually reunite with Sahashi kissing Natsume and revealing he isn’t leaving his current job for modeling because he loves what he does. He did all of that because a PR person who scouted him underrated Natsume’s work as a BA so he accepted the challenge to show him Natsume’s full potential and rouse his competitiveness. But his true motivation was to prove to Natsume that he can’t live without him and that he is essential in his life. He admits that he loves him so much, it feels heavy and annoying.

Natsume then confesses as well that he loves Sahashi and that whenever he gets to see him in the morning and at night, he becomes so happy. The two end up kissing and the series comes to an end.
