The 10th episode starts with Ju-yeon embracing Gun. She comes to the realization that she has feelings for him. He questions her behavior while she insists she was concerned about his running.
The following day, everyone gets ready to head to the Athlete’s Village for their training session. Gun reluctantly takes Cola to the pet care center and hides his sadness as he has to leave her there.
During the orientation, the coach was irritated with Shin and Shi-on for arriving late. Sae yan vows to remove them if they continue to mess up, such as by being late for training.
In the meantime, Ju-yeon attempts to steer clear of Gun but continuously crosses paths with him, causing her to feel flustered. Shin notices her concealment and questions what is going on. However, he is concerned about the potential resurgence of negative memories as Sae-yan and Gun spend time together.
Meanwhile, Sae-yan’s protector arrives at Mrs. Kyung’s residence. The nephew assists in communicating her whereabouts to the bodyguard amidst her refusal to answer the phone, causing chaos.
Regarding her, Shin attempts to convince Sae-yan to resign. He states that the Athlete’s Village resembles the military, and she will constantly have to look at him. However, she enjoys the fact that he is bothered by her being around, so she refuses to stop.
On the day of arrival, Shin and Gun provide Ju-yeon with transportation to the Athlete’s Village by offering their cars. Both of them argue, but Ju-yeon ultimately chooses Shin. He boasts, but Ju-yeon only picks him because her heart speeds up when she is close to Gun. Sae-yan arrives and announces that she and Ju-yeon will accompany Gun on the journey. Concerned about Gun and Sae-yan being together, Shin ultimately decides to drive everyone in his car. He is curious about what will happen to Cola at the pet care, but in the end, Gun decides to leave her with their parents.
Just before they depart, the bodyguards arrive. Sae-yan shoves the Lees and Ju-yeon into the backseat and speeds away recklessly. Gun grips Ju-yeon, causing her anxiety as it does not alleviate her emotions towards him. While Gun is puzzled about why Sae-yan refuses to leave, she feigns sleeping. Just as she is about to share her quest for her mysterious man, Shin interrupts.
In the hospital, Dr. Han is looking for a signal to see if Nurse Song is interested in him. She enjoys the corny quotes he sends in the group chat and also agrees to his restaurant suggestion, making him happy. As he settles the bill, the doctors playfully joke with Nurse Song that she and Han appear to be in a relationship. She mentions that Han’s resemblance to his father breaks her heart.
At the rest stop, Shin forces everyone to leave the car before promptly contacting Sae-yan’s father to inform him of their whereabouts. Sae-yan mistakenly believes Ju-yeon is sleeping in the back and drives away, thinking he left Sae-yan with Gun at the rest stop. He is surprised when Ju-yeon and Gun contact him at the rest stop, so he has to pull over at the closest resort. Sae-yan believes he is attempting to have her fired and argues with him until he unintentionally shatters her bracelet. He feels remorseful as she angrily leaves.
In the meantime, Ju-yeon and Gun make their way towards the resort. Her feet are bleeding but he doesn’t care, even though she is short-tempered with him. He entices her with her preferred treat in order to clean her injury. He playfully mocks her tears, leading to a tender moment between them.
At the parking lot of the resort, Shin adjusts the bracelet and patiently waits for Sae-yan to come back. Nevertheless, she is missing and he must search for her. He keeps her waiting pretending to use the bathroom when actually he calls her father. Suddenly, he experiences discomfort and thinks that a snake has bitten his back. He is sorry because he believes it is just karma for attempting to deceive her.
He presents her with the bracelet and mentions that he is aware of the mysterious man she is seeking. He is befuddled when she mentions her biological father and then passes out, surprising her. She attempts to extract the poison, but the ambulance shows up and discloses that it was merely an allergic reaction.
Shin and Sae-yan are in a state of confusion as Ju-yeon and Gun show up and question what happened. They have more problems ahead when they discover they have run out of fuel. Nevertheless, Shi-on manages to arrive in time and save them.
Gun leads Ju-yeon to the bridge where he was saved by his first love as they make their way to practice. He continues his confession, but she apologizes as she is unable to reciprocate his feelings. He observes that she has feelings for him and advises her not to deceive herself. In the end, they share a kiss.
Aww. It’s nice and all but I prefer the second lead couple. What do you think?
