During filming, the new actor Takama gets very close to Shirasaki. Hayama doesn’t like it but he hides his feelings. However, during scenes between Shirasaki and Hayama, the chemistry and sensuality between the two of them is obvious not only to the staff but to Tamaka.
After filming, the cast lodges in a hotel and Takama wants to go to the public bath with Hayama. Alone in his room, Shirasaki misses Hayama. He texts him and Hayama asks if he would still go to the bath with Takama having heard them discussing but Shirasaki declines it. He goes to the bath himself but on his way back to his room, he suddenly feels dizzy and mistakenly knocks on Takama’s door instead of Hayama.
Takama is surprised to see him but grabs his waist when he notices him stumbling. Hayama sees them and unable to handle his jealousy, he pulls Shirasaki away and takes him into his room. Shirasaki feels slightly better after Hayama gives him water. Hayama is a bit unhappy that Shirasaki mistook their rooms but he pretends to understand. He gets closer to Shirasaki and is about to kiss him when Takama suddenly calls them for dinner.
The next day, Takama and Shirasaki film together while Hayama is left sulking. His friend Sakuma realises he might be sulking because of the two but Hayama denies it.
After filming that day, Takama barges into Shirasaki’s room and pins him to the wall, telling him he wants Shirasaki to look at him sensually the way he looks at Hayama during their scenes.
In the next scene, we see the two kissing during their own part. The director congratulates them for their great acting but Takama notices Hayama leave upset. After that, Takama goes to talk to him and asks for his approval which Hayama unwillingly gives. Then he tells him how he admires that he can differentiate personal life from filming. (Bro is just being sarcastic). He tells him he can’t wait to see his kissing scene with Shirasaki. Hayama replies it would soon happen and leaves him with a foul mood.
Hayama and Shirasaki are alone going through their script. Shirasaki is apprehensive about their upcoming kiss scene. Meanwhile, Hayama congratulates him for his kiss scene with Takama and asks if they practiced together but Shirasaki quickly denies that. Then without warning, Hayama kisses him.
The next day, they act their kissing scene remarkably well to the admiration of everyone except for Takama.
Hayama and Takama meet at the locker room and Takama admits he’s unhappy because Hayama and Shirasaki looked like a couple. He says he admires how Hayama can create a line between private life and professionalism. But Hayama is honest saying that it seems he’s confusing his role with himself. When Takama asks if he likes Shirasaki, Hayama replies that he would never tell him. Meanwhile, Shirasaki overhears their conversation.
In the next episode, Shirasaki isn’t able to understand a scene about heartbreak but Hayama encourages him. He invites Shirasaki to his house for dinner and Shirasaki as usual compliments his cooking but he innerly wonders if Hayama likes him.
However, he comes across a pile of papers for an advertisement Hayama is working on. Realising he’s busy, he tries to leave but Hayama insists his stays reminding Shirasaki that he invited him to his house because he missed him.
The two watch a movie together and Hayama ends up falling asleep on Shirasaki’s shoulder but not before expressing his unhappiness at the fact that Takama fondly calls him Yuki. Shirasaki asks him if he’s unhappy because he likes him but Hayama is already fast asleep.
Shirasaki covers him with a blanket and speaks to him. He tells him that although he always wants to be with him, he should prioritize his work and not ignore it because of him. He is about to kiss him but stops himself when Hayama moves in his sleep.
Meanwhile, a rumor about Hayama dating a female celebrity spreads around. Shirasaki, Takama and Sakuma are reading the article on it and Sakuma says this female celebrity must be Hayama’s first love whom he couldn’t get over. Shirasaki is very unhappy to hear this but he gives himself hope that the person only belongs to the past and so continues to see Hayama.
However, during a dinner party with the movie staffs, Shirasaki overhears Hayama admitting to Sakuma that there is indeed someone he likes that he can’t get over. Shirasaki is heartbroken and leaves the dinner without telling anyone except Takama who in turn informs Hayama. Shirasaki goes to his favorite place, crying that he now understands what it means to be hurt by love.
He uses this feeling to act during filming and he is praised for it. But later that day, he makes a startling decision. He tells Hayama that because of him, he understands his character’s feelings and that there is no need for them to pretend to be boyfriends any longer. Hayama acts fine with it but when Shirasaki leaves, he gets overwhelmed and tries to go after him but Shirasaki shuts the door on him and walks away.
