Shirasaki is a struggling actor who works part time at a restaurant. He finally lands a role playing a bl series opposite Hayama, the most famous actor in Japan. The two attended the same university and went to the same film class. However, they never really spoke to each other. Or that’s what Shirasaki thinks. After Shirasaki sees Hayama again, he struggles through the first script reading and ends up feeling dissatisfied with his ability to resonate with the gay character he’s supposed to play. Hayama, sensing his difficulty, approaches him to reminisce. To Shirasaki’s surprise, he remembers everything about him, even the fact that he’s two years younger. He also shocks Shirasaki when he reveals that they have both spoken to each other before.
However, Shirasaki is still burdened with portraying the role perfectly so one night, he enters a gay club where he nearly gets hit on by a gay guy until Hayama appears claiming to have followed him after seeing him entering the club. Shirasaki expresses the real reason for his appearance at the gay bar. It was to get someone to sleep with him so he could understand what it means to like someone. Hayama is astounded by his thinking and tries to persuade him from such a reckless decision but Shirasaki is determined not to let anyone stand in his way so Hayama makes a shocking offer, to be the one who sleeps with him. Before Shirasaki can comprehend what happens, he kisses him.
The second chapter begins with Shirasaki visiting Hayama at his home. He accepts when Hayama asks to be his boyfriend instead of sleeping with him so that they could build their chemistry. Shirasaki lists out all the things they would do as a couple with Hayama’s assistance. But he isn’t able to bring himself to call Hayama by his first name, feeling it would be too much. They soon begin shooting their series and Shirasaki’s insecurities resurface when he sees discouraging comments about him where netizens bash him, hoping he wouldn’t bring down Hayama. That night during his regular visits, he tries hard to conceal his feelings but ends up lashing out at Hayama for being chosen to enter the industry unlike him who has struggled but saw nothing in return except discouragement.
He leaves but ends up regretting his actions the very next day. However, he can’t bring himself to send an apology text. However, they meet again during a date rehearsal to build their chemistry. They go everywhere, even doing embarrassing things like riding a carousel. They also go shopping and take photos. When they are alone at an aquarium, Shirasaki plucks up his courage and apologizes for his less thoughtful words. Hayama forgives him but encourages him not to look down on himself because there are people who see the potential in him, like their movie director and his manager. He tells him there is someone watching him. Shirasaki is so moved that he thanks him and finally calls him by his first name Asama. This causes Hayama to blush fiercely.
But they are spotted by some fangirls of Hayama and they have to run with Hayama pulling Shirasaki along with him. They manage to hide from the fan girls but Hayama continues to hug Shirasaki, refusing to let go. The episode ends.
