Episode 11 of Bad Memory Eraser kicks off with a romantic moment as Ju-yeon and Gun share a kiss on the bridge. Their tender moment is interrupted by a local asking them to move their car, leaving them flustered as they drive off. With no other option, Gun suggests they spend the night at his grandmother’s empty house, as she’s away.
For dinner, Ju-yeon makes instant noodles, and Gun can’t stop flirting with her. During their conversation, Ju-yeon reveals her dream of making her patients happy and curing mental illnesses through her brain research. Gun tells her to take care of herself too, prompting Ju-yeon to change the subject by chugging some tea. She quickly realizes it’s a stamina drink Mrs. Lee had prepared for Shin, leaving her feeling hot and flustered as she keeps thinking about her kiss with Gun. Meanwhile, Gun is more concerned with mice in the house, leading the two to sleep outside under the stars.
At the Athlete’s Village, Sae-yan continues to curse Shin, blaming him for her misfortunes. Shi-on, on the other hand, hopes to find love among the athletes, while Shin spends his time texting Ju-yeon, avoiding the press conference. The next morning, Sae-yan and Shin bicker during breakfast, but Shin serves her food to stop her from embarrassing him about a past incident.
Meanwhile, Gun and Ju-yeon, eager to impress each other, get ready separately. Gun buys Ju-yeon flowers, and though she plays it cool, she’s thrilled. At the same time, Tae-oh sneaks around, attempting to discover more about Gun’s side effects to steal Ju-yeon’s research. He nearly gets caught snooping through Han’s computer but finds a lead about a thesis on the side effects.
Upon reaching the Athlete’s Village, Ju-yeon and Gun are greeted warmly by Sae-yan, while Shin watches from a distance. He avoids attending the press conference, leaving Shi-on to field questions. We later learn that Shin struggles with anxiety, refusing interviews even at the cost of losing sponsorships. Meanwhile, Sae-yan’s career as an interpreter is cut short when her mother arrives to bring her home, revealing the painful truth about her biological father. Sae-yan insists on finding him, despite her mother’s objections.
Gun steps in, claiming Sae-yan has a contract with him, preventing her from leaving, which forces her mother to back down. Sae-yan thanks Gun for standing up to her intimidating family, and Gun, after hearing that her stepfather is a gangster, jokingly regrets his decision.
Ju-yeon continues to counsel the athletes, helping Shi-on navigate her jealousy of Sae-yan. Ju-yeon also helps Shin confront his anxiety, discussing imposter syndrome and encouraging him to acknowledge his feelings. He agrees to an interview, with Ju-yeon drawing a talisman on his hand for good luck.
Later, Sae-yan and Gun return to their childhood village in search of her father. They meet a local who recognizes Gun as a former child athlete and shares a disturbing memory about a child who died, triggering painful memories for Gun. He recalls being abandoned, falling into a river, and being saved by a young girl who later disappeared trying to recover his medal. As these memories resurface, Gun grows confused when he notices how much Sae-yan resembles his first love.
Meanwhile, Ju-yeon reflects on her feelings for Gun, realizing that although she has been pretending to be his first love, her feelings for him are genuine. Gun rushes to her, sharing his fear of losing her like he did with his first love. Ju-yeon reassures him, promising she’s not going anywhere, as Shin watches from a distance, clearly upset.
In a jealous move, Shi-on slips laxatives into Sae-yan’s food, then sabotages her swimsuit zipper at the pool. When Sae-yan’s stomach begins to hurt, she struggles to get out of her uniform, running into Shin, who reluctantly helps her. Back in the room, Sae-yan vents her confusion to Ju-yeon about everything that’s been happening, especially Shin’s attempts to get her fired. Ju-yeon, unsure of what’s really going on, is interrupted by Sae-yan’s mother, who warns her not to help Sae-yan find her father and reveals that Sae-yan and Shin had a fling in Italy.
With the pieces falling into place, Ju-yeon realizes that Sae-yan is actually Gun’s first love. Furious, she confronts Shin by the pool, accusing him of lying about knowing Sae-yan. He responds by kissing her just as Gun arrives, leading to a confrontation where Shin angrily pushes Gun into the water.
The episode ends with Gun starting to remember the night of the reunion accident. Although his memory is hazy, we see an image of Shin choking Gun before he falls into the river, with a wristband floating in the water.
