Cinderella At 2AM Episode 6 Recap

The sixth episode starts with Ju-won and Seong-min arguing about who will bring Yoon-seo along. In the end, Yoon-seo makes the decision to depart with Ju-won, who escorts her to his vehicle parked by the Han River. Nonetheless, Seong-min is equally resolute as Ju-won and hops into the car, compelling them to leave him close to the subway. At the Han River, Ju-won attempts to persuade Yoon-seo to go out with him, but she declines. Annoyed and tired from lack of sleep, she scolds him for going over the same discussion again and goes back to her house.

At the same time, Ju-won’s mother is concerned about him moving out. Si-won arrives at Ju-won’s hotel room with a list of properties for him to review while also mentioning their mother’s desire for him to come back.

The following day, Seong-min goes to the office to complete his contract for an exhibition project, mentioning that he and Ju-won have been acquainted since their college days. The team gets ready for an office dinner, and even though Ju-won wants to go, he finds out that Seong-min is attracted to Yoon-seo. Nevertheless, he has to attend an urgent meeting on Jeju Island.

During the office dinner, Seong-min snaps photos with the team next to Yoon-seo, then updates his profile picture, annoying Ju-won. He desires to go back to the dinner, however his flight is delayed.

Sympathizing with his younger brother Si-won and remembering Ju-won’s feelings for Yoon-seo, Si-won arranges for a helicopter to bring them back to Seoul. Ju-won unexpectedly shows up at the team dinner, and they decide to continue drinking together afterwards. At the bar, Ju-won and Seong-min participate in a competition to see who can drink more whiskey. Before long, everything becomes hazy, and Yoon-seo and Ju-won find themselves at Seong-min’s studio, feeling ashamed as they remember how they excessively complimented each other while intoxicated the previous night.

Yoon-seo goes to I-rae’s restaurant after informing Seong-min that he has been overstepping boundaries and interfering in her affairs, which she doesn’t approve of. She opens up to I-rae about the difficulty of ending things with Ju-won, especially because she still has emotions for him.

Meanwhile, Si-won and Mi-jin’s relationship appears to be developing more positively than the main couple’s. Mi-jin stumbles upon Si-won undressed by accident, adding comedic elements to an otherwise dull storyline. The following day, Mi-jin asks Si-won’s mother to have breakfast with her and seems to look up to her. Touched by Mi-jin’s kindness towards his mother, Si-won indirectly expresses his affection by giving her a stuffed toy to take on her business trip to Paris.

Later on, a scandal erupts online regarding Seong-min, exposing him as the disowned offspring of a politician. The media claims he is unfairly benefitting from nepotism in his first appearance as an artist. Ju-won and Si-won opt to manage the media, as Yoon-seo heads to the exhibition location to see how Seong-min is doing.

While walking on the beach, Seong-min explains he had no intentions of harassing Yoon-seo. He describes his father as a violent person who ruined the career of a trusted assistant, who was supporting Seong-min in his art career despite his family’s objections. Seong-min experienced guilt for his role in destroying someone’s life and was on the verge of leaping off a building when he received compassionate text messages from Yoon-seo, who had confused him for Ju-won.

He noticed her vibrant energy through her kind gestures, which prompted him to desire a meeting with her. The pair paint together, but Ju-won sees Yoon-seo congratulating Seong-min for pursuing his dreams despite family resistance, suggesting a strong bond between them.

So the only thing I love about this drama is Si won and his wife. I don’t know but their story line seems more romantic. The series is just dragging at this point but I hope it can at least, conclude well.
