Takara travelled abroad with his grandfather to hike around the world leaving Taishin behind. Taishin is still a part of the hiking club, helping Yui who is now the club president. He is surprised and elated when Takara and Akira pay them a visit at the club. After exchanging pleasantries with the others, the two leave together.
Everyone else thinks they are just good friends except for Yui who has been observing them since their group’s dinner and soon discovered their relationship was so much more. This influenced her to write a web novel about them which quickly became popular.
At Takara’s home, he learns that Taishin would be having his birthday the next day and so plans to cook for him and drink alcohol together. The next day, Yui is suffering from writer’s block as she has no new information about Taishin and Takara to further her story only for her to encounter them being lovey dovey. Excited, she spies at them but loses sight of them when she gets interrupted by Harukawa who has been pursuing her lately because he is interested in her.
Takara prepares a meal for Taishin. Although he doesn’t know how to cook, the food turns out very well. Takara gives Taishin alcoholic juice as he doesn’t like the bitter taste of beer. Meanwhile, Harukawa confesses his love for Yui but she is too busy writing her novel to care about his confession.
As for Takara and Taishin, after dinner, they open up to each other about how difficult it has been to be apart but regardless, they are determined to stay together. Takara is in the midst of his serious speech when a sleepy Taishin falls asleep on top of him.
The next morning, Taishin wakes up in Takara’s bed, acknowledging shyly that they had a good time last night. However, he is surprised when Takara suddenly calls him by his name, telling him to wash up so they could take a walk. Taishin begs him to call him by his name again. Of course, Takara refuses but he smiles the whole time.
The series ends with someone checking up on the news on their laptop. Most definitely Takara. It turns out that Yui’s novel based on Takara and Taishin would soon be made into a drama.
The End
The series was quite good. My rating would be 7.5/10
