Dare To Love Me Episode 12 Recap

In Episode 12, Jun-ho gets a phone call regarding Yoon-bok. Before long, Yoon-bok pressures the man he has been pursuing in Chinatown to contact Jun-ho, confirming their connection and disclosing his future plans.

At the same time, Jun-ho hears a loud sound in his apartment. Once he answers the phone, he discovers Hong-do next to his wardrobe holding a box. Hong-do apologizes for accidentally knocking it over before promptly leaving. Once she departs, Jun-ho becomes wary and inspects the closet, observing that the light is switched on. He runs after her.

The authorities in Chinatown apprehend the suspect thanks to Yoon-bok, and detain him, as Jun-ho tails Hong-do to give her a lift. She feels obligated to agree while he interrogates her, discovering that she was interested in examining his exclusive Camille items. While attempting to investigate more, Hong-do receives a phone call from Yoon-bok, who spotted her in Jun-ho’s vehicle while on the road. Jun-ho agrees to let her out when she asks because Yoon-bok promised to pick her up but unfortunately, he hasn’t found out if she had checked the closet.

Yoon-ah encounters Hong-do while Yoon-bok hurries to intercept Jun-ho. However, Jun-ho refuses to interact and quickly drives away while Yoon-bok chases after him. Simultaneously, Yi-bok’s team is conducting a search of Jun-ho’s house while Yoon-bok arrives and receives a phone call regarding the secret room. Within the space, there are boxes, ceramic items, and a work area.

In the apartment, Yoon-bok looks around to ensure Hong-do is secure. Due to Hong-hak’s absence, Yoon-bok insists on remaining to safeguard her. He spends the night in a frenzy, inspecting each passing car. She also cannot sleep, so they sit together as he narrates a story about a disciple of Confucius. She struggles to finish the initial long quote, dozing off on his shoulder. The following day, Hong-hak discovers them snuggled up on the sofa and faints. He faints for the second time after learning that they are officially in a relationship.

In the village, Chil-bok is determined to assist Yeojudaek by delivering new bedding to Leader Shin’s room. Chil-bok hides behind a barrier as he hears him coming, but Leader Shin quickly locates him. While at home, Se-Ryeong’s father ponders Jun-ho’s proposal but ultimately chooses to refrain due to his marriage agreement with Yoon-bok.

Detained, Chil-bok is interrogated by the Leader concerning Gamjjok. He informs him that Yoon-bok concealed him there for protection, right as Yoon-bok shows up. Confidentially, Yoon-bok clarifies that another person is responsible for Gamjjok.

Hong-do discusses Jun-ho’s situation at work and proposes involving the village in catering for the fashion show. Shortly after this, she discusses the change with Leader Shin, who agrees to address the villagers. Afterwards, he inquires about Yoon-bok, mentioning that his grandson will return to the village at some point and advising her to control her emotions. She promises to respect Yoon-bok’s decisions, no matter what they may be.

After deliberating overnight, Leader Shin calls off Yoon-bok’s engagement. While Se-ryeong sobs on her bed, her father contemplates seeking vengeance and encounters Jun-ho. Confidentially, Jun-ho clandestinely meets with him and hands over an envelope that is guaranteed to help him achieve his desires.

When Yoon-bok revisits the hidden room, the police show up and Yoon-bok uncovers something. They are convinced that Jun-ho is close by. Meanwhile, Leader Shin is confronted by the elders for betraying their tradition by favoring Camille, who they refer to as his ‘woman’, which leads to a heated confrontation filled with hostility. Yoon-bok is on the verge of locating Jun-ho when he receives news that his grandfather has collapsed, causing him to quickly return to the village. Discovering his grandfather asleep and the envelope, Yoon-bok makes the choice to remain and care for him.

The following day, Camille discovers that the show has been called off and angrily heads to the village. Yoon-bok remains present, preparing a cure for his grandfather. While they are talking, Camille suddenly enters loudly and comes across the pictures of their time in France, which helps her grasp the situation.

Individually, leader Lee, Se Ryeong’s father and his friends commemorate their successful rescue of the village from catastrophe. Leader Shin interrupts their laughter upon realizing that him cancelling the engagement was what started Leader lee’s betrayal.

Yoon-bok eavesdrops on the conversation and confronts Se-Ryeong, expressing his dissapointment. Simultaneously, Leader Shin and Camille have a meaningful conversation. She comprehends his choices made in the past.

Camille watches as the villagers receive ‘gifts’ from Leader Lee, who claims that he must distribute the village’s profits among all the residents. She goes up to him alone, offering a contract for the fashion show along with significant profits. Leader Shin announces he is resigning from his position through a message he leaves behind.

Upon hearing about it, Hong-do quickly rushes to Camille who is enjoying tea with Leader Lee. Camille declares she is willing to do whatever it takes for her business, effectively silencing her. Yoon-bok sees his grandfather dressed in plain attire, cleaning the monastery. As Leader Lee and Camille raise their glasses to collaborating with the village, Lee casually mentions that he received the information from Jun-ho.

While still concealed, Jun-ho rejoices over Leader Shin’s downfall before receiving a phone call instructing him to go to a secure location. He discovers a treasure by adhering to the instructions.

Leader Lee receives congratulations for contributing to the successful production at the village. Security is uncertain about allowing vehicles into the village, but Leader Lee has given approval. Immediately, Jun-ho quietly leaves one of the rooms and goes into a forbidden storage area. There, he discovers ancient artifacts and runs into Yoon-bok.

How sad that our gentle looking Jun ho turned out to be the bad guy. It’s sad that he wasted all his potential concocting his revenge on leader Shin. I’m eager to know what happens next, if he’s responsible for Yoon Bok’s father’s death.
