Bitter Sweet Hell Episode 10 Recap

Sa Kang has been bothered by Se na’s threatening texts so she goes to the vacation home to confront her only for an unknown man to attack her. She tries to escape but the man manages to make her pass out. When she wakes up, she’s holding a bloody knife with Mr An’s dead body beside her. She’s completely confused. Yeong won comes inside startled by the scene. Sa Kang tries explaining her innocence but the police arrive and as soon as they see the scene, both women are arrested. Meanwhile, Se na is outside, watching everything go down.

At the police station, during questioning, Sa Kang tries to explain that she was framed by Se na but the detective doesn’t listen. Jae Jin tries to protect their innocence but it’s difficult. Yeong won watches from her cell as Sa Kang is led into her own cell. Both lock eyes and the pain is evident. Jae Jin is also at a loss unable to meet his mother and the future suddenly seems bleak and uncertain.

The next morning, Yeong won is released thanks to Sa Kang’s statement where she clarified she was alone during the killing. Yeong won meets Sa Kang promising to catch Se na and prove her innocence but Sa Kang recounts that she was attacked by a man that night. She describes how build hinting that the real killer might be someone they never suspect just like in mystery novels. However, she’s worried about her son and Yeong won replies that he can’t bear to face her.

As Jae Jin and Yeong won are leaving the station, they are hounded by reporters demanding to know what happened. It’s a hassle but they manage to pass through the crowd and enter their car.

Tae oh meets Dr Oh and manipulates her again, claiming that this is an opportunity for Jae Jin to finally leave his family and be with her. Dr Oh is somewhat worried about Sa Kang but Tae oh belittles her niceness, urging her to take action and get rid of Sa Kang.

Meanwhile, Park Kang Sung is shocked when his nephew brings him the news of Sa kang’s arrest. At home, Jae Jin goes on his knees and apologises to Yeong won for what he did to her telling her to leave the house if she feels uncomfortable with him but Yeong won is more concerned with proving his mother’s innocence. She makes him stand up.

Park Kang Sung visits Sa Kang deeply saddened by what happened. Meanwhile the rest of the family including Young min Aunt and Do hyun gather together to figure out how to solve this problem. Yeong won and Jae Jin explain that their family have been blackmailed by Lee se na. Although Aunt and Young min aren’t so certain of Sa kang’s innocence, they all decide to come together to clear her name. The police suddenly arrive to park Sa Kang’s things for them to investigate. The detective questions Aunt, Young min and the housekeeper but their responses about Sa Kang are superficial and don’t help much.

The housekeeper has to leave due to the situation and Yeong won assures her that she will call her back. She should consider her time off, a paid vacation. Tae oh arrives to give Do Hyun lessons but he’s restricted from coming to the house due to the current situation. He tries to get Jae Jin’s support but he wants nothing to do with him and asks him to leave. Tae Oh is shocked as he watches Jae Jin leave. Tae oh gives up and leaves the house in anger.

He meets the detective just as he’s about leaving and tells him about Sa Kang being mean to Dr Oh which made her leave her house in tears. Dr Oh gives her statement at the station, talking about how Sa Kang sponsored her education and made her a doctor so she could perform surgeries for her son. She also says that for her son, Sa Kang could kill.

Finally, Jae Jin tells Yeong won about Tae oh. How he confronted him after hearing he was turning Do Hyun against her. He exposes that Tae oh isn’t actually his senior’s son. He lied because of how wary Yeong won is about strangers entering their home. He reveals that he actually met Do hyun at a psychiatric hospital where he went to receive counseling for his blood phobia. Tae oh saved him from a mental patient and seemed to also have blood phobia which made Jae Jin connect with him but now, it’s obvious Tae Oh approached him intentionally.

From then on, Tae oh becomes the murder suspect to Yeong won. She is very bothered when she recieves a call from Kyung Tae telling her that Sa Kang would soon be charged to court due to the evidence against her.

Sa Kang is then transfered to the main prison. Yeong won visits her and Sa Kang is her jovial teasing self. However, Yeong won assures her that she will bail her out. Sa Kang tells her to take care of the family in her behalf. Yeong won replies that she now understands her. Sa Kang teary eyed tells her not to get emotional but Yeong won smiles that she’s just like her, both of them are cool people.

Meanwhile, Park Kang Sung asks the neighbors around the vacation home if they have seen anyone go in and out of there. One old man replies that someone saw a young man going inside.

Meanwhile, Jae Jin has Young min and Park Kang Sung’s nephew pretend to have a counseling session at the psychiatric hospital where he met Tae oh. That’s when Young min immediately discovers that Moon Tae oh is a different person not the person they know. Jae Jin immediately informs Yeong won on the phone. She figures out that he could also be someone like Se na who had a distorted view about her counseling session. She thinks that he might be related to Se na.

She and her secretary start searching though her past files to find a child with the same case as Se na who was abandoned by their family. They come across one, a boy called Oh Ji Hwan who came from a violent home. His mother had come to Yeong won’s show for counseling but changed her mind ignoring Yeong won’s advice to cut off her husband and prioritize her family.

Meanwhile, thanks to the elderly neighbors who saw the culprit at the vacation home, Park Kang Sung is able to draw his portrait.

Jae Jin, Young min and Park Kang Sung’s nephew end up at the orphanage where Se na volunteers. While relating with the kids, Young min discovers that the children know Tae Oh whom they call uncle Thomas. He tells Jae Jin who is talking to a nun. The nun clarifies that Thomas was raised in the orphanage just like Se na. His real name was Oh Tae Hwan. Jae Jin calls Yeong won and informs her. She recalls Oh Tae Hwan was the name of Oh Ji Hwan’s twin brother. She recieves double shock when Park Kang Sung sends her portrait of the culprit which is undoubtedly resembles Tae Oh or should we say Oh Tae Hwan.

The nun calls Se na telling her that Jae Jin came asking about her. She realizes they are onto her and meets Tae Hwan at his apartment where he is having a jolly time watching the video of Yeong won getting harassed by reporters. But Se na confronts him for getting ahead of himself and being sloppy when he killed Mr An and framed Sa Kang reminding him that it was because of her he started thinking of revenge. Tae Hwan worked at a construction company and hated seeing Yeong won on her TV shows so when Se na provided an opportunity for revenge, he jumped at it and became a new person. She got him a new apartment and a new identity.

Meanwhile, Yeong won and her family have planned to lure Tae Hwan to the house using Do Hyun who sends him a text begging to be saved because his Mom can’t accept his sexuality.

Meanwhile, the police receive information about the real murderer. Kyung tae and his team hurry over to the address. While Se na is busy planting Tae Hwan’s home with the murder evidence in other to implicate him.

Tae Hwan arrives at the Chois home but meets Yeong won in the living room. He asks after Do hyun but Yeong won immediately tells him she knows who he really is and asks about his relationship with Se na. Tae Hwan is shocked for words.

So there are still two more episodes to go after this which makes me very nervous because there’s still a lot that will go down. However, I love how everyone is coming together to fight the villains. I love the comraderie between our two leads, Yeong won and Sa Kang. Jae Jin has finally realized his wrong and begged for forgiveness. All hands are on deck to rescue Sa Kang who used to be the least liked person in the value. Now, after everything, her value is finally appreciated. Se na is evil, ready to get rid of everyone, even her allies in other to achieve her goals. Like I said before, she’s one formidable villain.
