In the third episode, the story continues with Yeong-won discovering Dr. Oh covered in blood at their family vacation home. Sa-gang informs her that she found Dr. Oh unconscious right before Yeong-won showed up. After extensive discussion, they decide to transfer Dr. Oh to a reliable medical facility without informing the authorities to prevent it from becoming a public matter.
At the medical facility, Sa-gang has a hunch that Jae-jin may be implicated like Dr. Oh. Yeong-won discloses the messages she got labeling them as “A complete falsehood,” along with images of Jae-jin with a different woman. She mentions that the medical society Jae-jin said he went to regularly for more than a year was actually non-existent. However, Sa-gang is adamant that Jae-jin is not guilty and would never betray Yeong-won.
Following Sa-gang’s departure, Yeong-won pays a visit to her mother, who suffers from dementia, at the hospital. Their relationship appears to be challenging. Sa-gang comes back to the holiday house accompanied by Park Kang-sung, the proprietor of Soft Hands, who has been assisting Sa-gang. Together, they find evidence of Jae-jin’s extramarital relationship in the second-floor office-bedroom, causing Sa-gang to remember how her husband also used to be unfaithful in that same space. She instructs Kang-sung to make the space clean.
While heading to Jae-jin’s office, Yeong-won encounters her brother Yeong-min, who shares how he crossed paths with Jae-jin on his way to the consortium. We are also informed that Kang-sung’s nephew is friends with Yeong-min. Yeong-won covertly downloads CCTV recordings from Jae-jin’s clinic, analyzing the footage to discover Jae-jin and Dr. Oh hurrying to a certain location. In addition, she locates Dr. Oh’s cellphone at the rear of the vehicle. In the hospital, she utilizes Dr. Oh’s thumb to access the phone and discovers numerous photos of Jae-jin, including a childhood photo of Jae-jin and Sa-gang.
Yeong-won confides in Sa-gang about her doubts, but Sa-gang reassures her that her husband and Dr Oh are just friends and that Dr. Oh’s feelings for Jae-jin are unrequited. Sa-gang pretends to be Dr. Oh to inform the clinic staff that Dr. Oh will be on vacation for some time.
Yeong-won and Jae-jin inform their son, Do-hyeon, that Jae-jin is currently on a work tour with no set end date. Yeong-won is later notified via phone call that surveillance cameras have been discovered in Jae-jin’s medical office. It has been uncovered that Sa-gang set up the cameras to stop the clinic from operating while Jae-jin and Dr. Oh were away. Afterward, Sa-gang presents Yeong-won with a video of Jae-jin gripping a metal rod stained with blood, but argues that Jae-jin would not have tried to kill Dr. Oh. She claims that their family is being framed by someone.
This is the moment they encounter Dr. Oh’s colleague, Go Kyung-tae, who discloses that Dr. Oh is nowhere to be found and he himself is a law enforcement officer. Yeong-won and Sa-gang are upset by this revelation, as they had hoped to handle the situation discreetly and avoid involving the police. They choose to go to Dr. Oh’s apartment in order to get rid of her phone. Sa-gang, who refers to herself as the Agatha Christie of Korea, discovers the passcode by dusting powder onto the machine. They are close to successfully hiding the phone when Kyung-tae shows up at the apartment.
While he dials Dr. Oh’s number, the phone begins to ring in the closet where Sa-gang and Yeong-won are concealed. Kang-sung arrives and reveals he is Dr. Oh’s uncle, saving them and guiding Kyung-tae in a different direction. At the same time, Do-hyeon hangs out with Mun Tae-o who tries to comfort him over his father’s absence.
Upon their arrival at home, Yeong-won and Sa-gang encounter private investigator Jung Doo-man, who has been looking into Lee Se-na on behalf of Go-myu. Doo-man presents proof that Jae-jin is having an affair with Se-na and warns that Lee Se-na is a dubious woman. The men who were connected to her have passed away, which resulted in her receiving their insurance payouts.
It was also uncovered that Sa-gang was aware of Jae-jin’s affair but chose not to inform Yeong-won. Yeong-won confronts Sa-gang regarding this matter and promises to search for Jae-jin on her own. It would be preferable for her to take his life rather than for the witch, Se na, to discover him.
