Hye Jin manages to slip out of the apartment with Jun ho’s help. However, Jun ho is uncomfortable when his mother informs him that his father has used his connections to secure a place for him at a bigger academy. Jun ho is upset that they are still trying to control his life. He tells his mom that if he has his own children, he would never do that to them as he would allow them make their own decisions. He ultimately rejects the offer and while he is escorting his mother, he tells her he would call his father but until then, she shouldn’t tell him about his decision so he wouldn’t take his anger out on her.
As he’s preparing to leave for work, he deleted the private study book he has been preparing with Hye Jin the entire time. Meanwhile, the vice president, Ms woo seems to have something up her sleeve regarding Mr Pyo.
Mr Pyo prepares to leave school ignoring everyone, even the students who seem upset by his departure. However, one of his students, Sa yul, the one he argued with Hye Jin over, presents him with a notebook. Mr Pyo sees it and is surprised by what is inside. Meanwhile, Sa yul and her friend think Mr Pyo would be moved by the content of the notebook.
Ms Woo secretly meets with Director Choi. She is curious over her business with Mr Pyo. However, she’s more concerned with Hye Jin and the two sit down to discuss what to do with her.
Jun ho visits Hye Jin at her apartment and treats her wound which she got while trying to flee his apartment. He knows she’s thinking about Mr Pyo’s dilemma. Hye Jin predicts that Mr Pyo will set up a free lecture. She plans to let her students attend his class so they can choose which lecture they would prefer between them. Jun ho finds her plan ridiculous.
Director Choi and Ms Woo admits that Hye Jin is an excellent teacher but Ms Woo adds that she has no respect for her colleagues or seniors. She wouldn’t have forgiven Hye jin if she was in director Choi’s shoes. She had given her the best offer but she rejected her. Director Choi knows Ms Woo is still harboring resentment against boss who bought her Victoria academy for cheap, joined it with Daechi Chase academy and made her to work under him as vice president. Ms Woo admits she has a deep grudge because of that. She wants to take back what belongs to her. She gives Director Choi, Hye Jin’s material claiming it’s primarily for Mr Pyo to use.
Director Choi asks what she would do if she tells her Boss about her betrayal but Ms replies that her academy would suffer for it. Director Choi laugs and decides to trample on Hye Jin for her.
While Hye Jin and Jun ho are leavening the apartment together, Hye Jin notices his odd behavior. Thinking it’s because of Mr Pyo, she assures him that she will handle the situation.
Seung ho and Cheong mi eat at a cafeteria. She wants to repay him for driving her home. He asks her if she likes cafeteria food and she replies that she doesn’t dislike it. Seung ho can tell she used to be poor to which Cheong mi is shocked by his bluntness. But he tells her he’s only remarking about the past. She’s better than him who is currently poor. Cheong mi asks why he still furthered his studies. Seung ho thinks that by giving up on marriage and having kids, he can sufficiently take care of himself but Cheong mi thinks he has no interest in dating. Seung ho clarifies he wants to date and hints that he’s interested in her. She nearly chokes on her meal. Seung ho then outrightly asks her out, promising to make her happy even though he doesn’t have money. When she asks what he would do if she wants to eat expensive meals, Seung ho jokes that Jun ho will pay for it.
Meanwhile, Jun ho speaks with Ms Kim about opening a small class he would teach consisting of two to four students but Ms Kim cites that it’s against policy plus there aren’t many rooms left at the academy but Jun ho is determined. He will be sure of making his class a hit by having great lectures. Ms Kim isn’t sure but Jun ho is ready to take a windowless class room if that’s what it takes.
Director Choi discusses with Mr Pyo on how to beat Hye Jin. She wants him to use underhanded methods to crush her even though Mr Pyo is intent on using the normal approach. She shows him Hye Jin’s rich material proving she is way more skilled than he is. Mr Pyo notes that director Choi isn’t playing fair but Director Choi doesn’t care about that. She gives him an address where he would meet and discuss with Ms Woo.
Meanwhile, Jun ho tries to convince Hye Jin and Cheong mi to formulate new teaching strategies. Instead of just giving out materials and text books, they should teach the students how to read and tackle any questions, they should teach them the essence of studying just like Hye Jin taught him. They think he isn’t been realistic and Hye yells at him when he tells her he has deleted the study book they have been working on. Her shout attracts the attention of the other staff.
The two begin to argue loudly about who is right between them. The staff gather around the room overhearing them. One staff who has a crush on Jun ho points out that Hye Jin tends to look down on Jun ho and not take his ideas seriously. The argument escalates so much that they say really terrible things to each other. Jun ho refuses to recover the file he had deleted, determined not to teach it. Hye Jin decides to leave and when Jun ho tries stopping her, she swears she will kill him.
Before she leaves the academy, Mr Yoon tries to calm her down pointing that she’s too emotional but it’s the reason Hye Jin wants to leave, to calm herself. She buys herself an umbrella since it’s raining outside and ignores Jun ho’s calls. All she can think of is Jun ho’s last words to her when he told her she’s the one who is drunk on Daechi Chase academy where she only uses notes to teach students.
Worried, Jun ho wants to search for her. Cheong mi advices Hye Jin could be at her friend’s restaurant or he could simply wait for her at home. But Hye Jin is actually meeting up with Mr Pyo at her friend’s restaurant. The two talk and Mr Pyo reveals he rejected her materials. He shows her Sa yul’s notebook. He had instructed his students to read a book each semester and was quite surprised that Sa yul took it seriously, even writing notes on the book she read. It reminded him of the essence of being a teacher and he felt embarrassed for forgetting that. Now, he wants to teach his way and not by cheating. His talk reminds her of Jun ho and Hye Jin feels overwhelmed. She doesn’t want to get him in trouble with director Choi but Mr Pyo assures her that he will take care of himself.
They both see Jun ho heading towards the restaurant and when he finally enters and approaches their table, the tension is evident.
This episode was something else. The argument between these two was long coming. They are both very different people and their relationship can’t move forward if they don’t iron out their differences. I always knew vice president Ms woo was up to something. We are finally seeing what it is.
