Si Woo gives back his books to Choisun and Ms. Choi’s assistant, Mr. Kim is displeased. They both agree not to harm each other. The boss offers Hye Jin a new phone as a way to say sorry. She tells him that she received an offer from a different academy but turned it down. She declines to reveal the name of the academy to him. Once she departs, Boss drowns in remorse.
After hearing from Mr. Kim about Siwoo returning his books and making the academy sign not to harm him, Ms. Choi becomes enraged. Afterwards, she sends Si woo a message showing her support, but he chooses to disregard it.
Jun ho feels let down when Hye jin is a no-show for their lunch date in the park. Instead, she is instructing in class while intentionally steering clear of him. He goes back to the school and suggests giving his lunch to Cheong Mi.
Hye Jin and her friend rendezvous at the academy after work and become drunk. Hye jin isn’t interested in blind dates or romance because she feels she’s too old for it. They talk about the reasons behind Hye-jin never having a stable boyfriend. Her friend believes that Hye-jin underestimated love due to her intense focus on work since her college years. Having all the material possessions people strive for can make it seem like love is unnecessary.
Then she raves enthusiastically like an adolescent about her fondness for Jun-ho. Despite his cheerful, sweet, and responsible nature, she understands the need to pause their developing relationship due to the fact that she is his teacher. When her friend inquires about her true emotions, Hye-jin confirms by saying, “You saw him, didn’t you?”. What’s not to love about Jun-ho?
At that moment, Jun-ho sends Hye-jin a photo of all the sticky notes she had given him during her time as his teacher. He has rescued all of them and recalls the times she gifted each one to him. Hye-jin sobs uncontrollably, hiding her face and burying her head in her arms in a display of intense emotion. She claims she isn’t a skilled teacher, she only did those tasks for Jun-ho.
While her peers were enjoying dating and going on field trips during college, she was working as a teacher and cleaning offices to earn extra money, leading her to feel overwhelmed and distressed. However, Jun-ho consistently uplifted her spirits. She is stuttering while crying and blowing her nose. In that gentle moment, Jun-ho makes a phone call. Hye-jin is unable to respond, so her friend in a drunken state takes over and asks him to come over. She’s wishing for a dream couple to come together as soon as he shows up. However, when he arrives with the friend’s husband, both Hye Jin and her friend are already asleep, so Jun-ho has to assist the unsteady Hye-jin into the car.
At the same time, Hye Jin’s friend and her husband talk about the relationship between Hye Jin and Jun ho. The husband was already aware of Hye Jin’s emotions as soon as she introduced Jun ho to their restaurant. The couple both admit that she was unaware of her own emotions that were already obvious to everyone.
Upon arriving at her apartment, Hye Jin is forced to share the passcode with Jun ho, as he is the only one capable of entering the number accurately. After that, she asks him to come inside. Upon entering, she approaches him purposefully and enfolds him in a warm embrace. “Can you perceive all of my deceit?” she inquires. He desires to kiss her, but she heads to the bedroom before he can do so. He waits for her to fall asleep before moving to the couch, proud of himself for acting like a gentleman.
The following day, Hye-jin discovers Jun-ho entering her apartment with soup and hangover medication, using a passcode she can’t recall giving him. He plans to take her out for a date after he makes sure to cover her classes first. Sitting across from each other on the sofa, he expresses that he has run out of patience and asks her not to look the other way. Afterward, he plants kisses on her forehead, cheek, and lips, leading to a tight hug from her as they move forward with their kiss, thereby solidifying their date.
At work, Chung-mi, who has now become friends with Jun-ho and Hye-jin, offers to take care of Hye-jin’s classes so Jun-ho can be with her. Wow, this is really nice. Jun-ho follows instructions, and after Hye-jin receives an IV and starts feeling better, they walk the streets together, reminiscing about the past and hinting at potential future adventures while holding hands. She informs him that she will likely awkwardly mess things up sometimes.
In the car, their hands are intertwined once more, but she instructs Jun-ho to keep their actions confidential. She doesn’t want people discussing her flirting with a former student. Despite Jun-ho’s joking about the former student seducing her, she does not see the humor in it. Their reputations will be impacted by the gossip.
After they park at her place, Jun ho wants to go to her apartment, but she declines his request so they settle for kissing each other in the car.
Later, with the assistance of Ms. Kim’s son, Jun ho is able to move into his own apartment and reveals to him that he is in a relationship with Hye jin, which comes as a shock since she was also his tutor.
Even after returning to work, they manage to spend time together following their recent collaborative teaching session for students in Haenam. At the end of the night, he accompanies her to her doorstep, she finds reasons to stay with him longer outside, and eventually, she asks him to come inside.
This episode was all about kissing. These two kissed so much that I actually felt quite embarrassed. But it was lovely to watch. This is one student teacher romance series I have come to completely adore. Can’t wait to find out what they are going to do in Hye Jin’s apartment. ehem!
