Episode 11 begins with a flashback to three years ago. A drunk Yoon-young comes to Woo-jae’s studio and complains about his novel. She realizes he’s going to marry Jung-won the next day and becomes upset. At present, Yoon-young is standing inside a lake. She removes the battery from her wristwatch and changes the hands to ten o’clock. Meanwhile, Tae-heon is told that she put her phone on and her location is a bus terminal. The detectives go in search of her and Tae-heon finds a woman with Yoon-young’s phone and coat. It’s just a distraction.
Woo-jae comes home and gets a call from Tae-heon. Around the same time, Yoon-young messages him and reveals she’s holding Jung-won hostage. Woo-jae lies to Tae-heon and then calls Yoon-young. She gives him an address and tells him to come alone. Thankfully, Tae-heon picked up on the fact that Woo-jae lied. From Woo-jae’s building watchman, he learns that Woo-jae drove off in a hurry. Jung-won wakes up on the roof of a building. She’s tied up with ropes and Yoon-young is holding one end. She plans for both of them to die at 10 pm, in fifteen minutes. She describes how she became obsessed with the idea of stopping someone’s time. Now, she’s going to make sure Woo-jae thinks about her all the time by killing herself and Jung-won.
Woo-jae finally arrives and begs her to stop. Yoon-young then whispers to Jung-won that Eun-sae’s real killer was Woo-jae. She is about to jump off the roof when Tae-heon arrives. She jumps anyway but the two men manage to hold on to Jung-won and the rope. Yoon-young says she has no regrets and throws herself out of Tae-heon’s grip, falling to the ground.
At the police station, Soo-rin is distraught when she hears that Yoon-young died. She blames her father for it. Elsewhere, Assembly man Mo sits in repentance outside Park Jin-soo’s — the man falsely accused during the Bongto fire — sister’s shop, apologising for her brother’s wrong conviction.
Jung-won is in her room, unable to get Yoon-young’s words out of her head. Before she died, she also whispered that the truth was in Jung-won’s favourite object. While searching through her stuff, Jung-won comes across an application for divorce. When Woo-jae comes home, Jung-won tells him she wants a divorce.
He tearfully accepts and she moves out of the house, going to stay with Ae-na for the time being. The two women have drinks and Jung-won opens up about how she’s feeling. She lost her husband, her show and got arrested, so things are not particularly great.
Tae-heon is venting his frustration out onto a punching bag as well. But he smiles when he gets a call from Jung-won. She wants a favour. They meet outside and Jung-won asks him to send her the recordings of her therapy sessions. He then asks her what her plans for the future is. She admits she’s getting a divorce and plans on handing in her resignation. He offers a few words of comfort. She then asks if he’ll wait for her. He agrees.
The next day, Jung-won goes to work and packs up her stuff. She gives her colleagues her things and gives No Ji-ho a tip to look into Mo Hyung-taek’s story about being stabbed. Woo-jae’s father calls Jung-won and tells her to work at his company. She tells him about the divorce and agrees to sign confidentiality agreements.
As she leaves the house, she falls to the floor in pain. Woo-jae, who’s just arriving, helps her up. He drives her home and she falls asleep on the way. He tries to wake her up but she seems passed out. He takes her to a hospital where he’s told she’s suffering from dehydration and stress. Oh and also, she’s pregnant.
Tae-heon visits Soo-rin in prison. She still believes Yoon-young and tells Tae-heon she never stabbed her father. She then reveals something about the Bongto fire. A flashback shows a young Lee Na-ri catching Soo-rin feeding rat poison to rabbits. Later, Soo-rin and Yoon-young call Na-ri to the factory. They knock her out, set the fire, and leave. But later, Soo-rin sees Na-ri stumbling on the road. She doesn’t say anything to Yoon-young.
Jung-won wakes up in the hospital and Woo-jae tells her she’s pregnant. He seems happy and asks her to stay with him for the sake of the child. Jung-won still wants the divorce though.
At the police station, Tae-heon learns that Na-ri’s body was so damaged they couldn’t do a DNA test. Myung-soo then reveals that Lee Ba-reun is none other than Lee Na-ri’s younger brother. He goes to Ae-na’s house and meets Jung-won. He tells both of them about Ba-reun and Soo-rin’s theory about Na-ri being alive.
They discuss the possibility of another crime. While Jung-won walks him out, the detective calls her out for being cold towards him. He suddenly remembers it’s around the time of her father’s death anniversary and assumes she’s upset because of that.
Later, Jung-won gets a sonography. She asks about the possibility of an abortion. We don’t hear the answer. Jung-won then watches her therapy recordings. During one session, they talk about Woo-jae’s book. Yoon-young’s last words were the same as the book’s last line. Jung-won rushes home and finds a memory card taped inside the book.
Inside, is a clip from the day of Eun-sae’s murder. The clip shows a man entering while Eun-sae is dying on the floor. He stabs her again and finishes the deed. Jung-won is shocked and realises that the knife he used is the same one that was used to kill her father. Just then, Woo-jae enters the room and Jung-won envisions his face during her father’s murder as well. The episode ends.
