After pulling a young Han Bom out of the car, Seo Ki wan gives her the camera to hold. He tells her he’s looking for the gate of death so his nephew could live to an old age. He doesn’t get any network to call so he goes out to get help only to be run down by the incoming car. Han Bom hides upon hearing some men, definitely those responsible, approaching the car talking about killing a man so he wouldn’t be a witness. They find a phone and leave the scene but Han Bom ends up fainting.
Han Bom tells Ki Joo everything but he doesn’t react. He just drives them to a restaurant and makes her eat. When she asks why he doesn’t react, he simply replies he doesn’t want to make her feel guilty about his uncle’s death.
They later arrive at Han Bom’s house and before parting ways, Ki Joo jokes with her telling her to remember when she was a troublesome child ghost. They tease each other for a while before embracing tightly. When Han Bom enters her house, she finds Ji won restless, waiting for a call. Ji won even asks if she has anything that can draw a ghost to her. Later, Ji won asks her where she went and Han Bom replied that she had gone to the tunnel where her parents died and that she should prepare herself because things would get noisy from now on.
Na rae goes to the temple to cry out to Baek Nam ku, telling him to forgive her for cheating on him. She cries that she would never be happy because of what she did but because of the burden she feels, she can’t breathe and urges him to leave the earth. Baek Nam ku, pitying her, decides to leave. Meanwhile, Han Bom meets Yoon hee and tells her to get information on the vacation home incident from the police. Prosecutor Lee hears of it and also discovers that Han Bom is investigating the tunnel incident. He is quite curious, wondering what she and the man who threatened him are really up to. Meanwhile, he keeps rejecting a call from a man called Kim Seong Soo. That Kim Seong Soo is being assaulted by a gang he owes thirty million won to.
Meanwhile, Seung Hoon is upset that Ki Joo keeps giving him work when he’s planning to go on a date with Ji won. He even suggests that they ask Han Bom for help but it’s then that Ki Joo reveals Han Bom is his girlfriend and that Seung Hoon should stop calling her name informally. Seung Hoon is shocked but then he risks it all and leaves when Ji won messages him that she was going on a blind date. Meanwhile, Ji won isn’t quite enjoying herself with her entitled rich date but when Seung Hoon possesses him, she notices immediately and asks him why he didn’t call her this entire time. He replies that he didn’t want to scare her. Before his time expires, he arranges for them to have another date and Ji won is so excited. When he leaves his host’s body, she dismisses her date with him and leaves.
Meanwhile, Detective Lee meets Yoon Cheol’s mother pretending to be close to Ki joo so he can take a look at the picture she took in his studio. He’s taken aback by how realistic the picture of Yoon Cheol looks plus when the woman says Ki Joo takes pictures of ghosts, he suddenly thinks of the first time he got arrested and told Han Bom he sees ghosts. Still, the detective finds it ridiculous.
While with her prosecutor friend in a restaurant, Han Bom learns that her request to view the files on the tunnel incident had been denied. Meanwhile, Baek Nam ku has found Kim Sang Soo while he’s been chased around by the debt collectors. Ki Joo finds his old journal where he wrote about his time with Han Bom when she was a ghost. He remembers how she said she wanted to ride a ferris wheel so she could see her parents in the sky. He then allows Seung Hoon who has been working with him to go on a date with Ji won and the two have a wonderful time even when Seung Hoon has to possess different bodies, male and female, old and young in order to have a pleasant date with her.
Han Bom comes to see Ki Joo at the studio and hugs him tightly to ‘recharge her energy’. He gives her his journal where he had wrote about her. She hopes it would trigger her memory. But seeing he’s still too preoccupied with his research, she suggests they take a break and have a drink.

Meanwhile, Seung Hoon and Ji won sit on a bench to talk. She tells him she understands why he harassed those who took his position at work. It was because he didn’t want them to die from overworking like he did. Seung Hoon is surprised she figured it out and says he thought he would be happy being a deputy but now that he was dead, he felt a lot happier. They nearly kiss but his timer interrupts and he has to leave, frustrated that he didn’t get the chance to have his first kiss. He is ejected from his host and suddenly runs into Ki Joo and Han Bom who are both surprised to see him. While they are talking, Ji won overhears them shocked that they know Seung Hoon.
They take her to the photo studio. Ji Won is surprised they both see ghosts while Han Bom is surprised she’s even dating Seung Hoon. Suddenly, Baek Nam ku arrives to tell Ki Joo that he has brought Seong Soo. But he mistakes Ji Won for a dead person and they scream at him that she’s still alive. Baek Nam ku takes Ki joo to see Seong Soo who just woke up in the back of a cab. Ki Joo tells him to withdraw his witness statement because he knows the truth about what happened in the vacation home incident. He warns Seong Soo not to trust Prosecutor Lee and gives him his id to contact him if he changes his mind. Seong Soo insists he knows nothing and flees the car. When he calls Prosecutor Lee, he picks up this time and Seong Soo demands money in exchange for his silence.
Meanwhile, it’s a bit awkward between Han Bom and Ji won at home but they soon get over it while they are drinking and start gushing about how Seung Hoon possibly looks. Meanwhile, Baek Nam ku tells Ki Joo he’s ready to leave as he has no reason to stay on earth anymore. He tells Ki Joo to help him burn his things and requests to see Na Rae’s lover Min hyeon before his departure.
The next day, Han Bom finally reads Ki Joo’s journal while in the bus and her memories from the time she was in coma resurfaces. She now realizes that everything he said about her was true. That night, she kisses him as soon as he comes out from his house and tells him it’s been a while. Ki Joo realizes she has remembered when she was a ghost and is happy. The next day, he texts her to go on a ferris date with him at the amusement park and Han Bom excitedly starts looking for what to wear.
Meanwhile, Ki Joo and the others have gone to meet Seong Soo who had sent him a text message to find him at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, Baek Nam ku goes to investigate on his own while Ki Joo and Seung Hoon search every apartment in the complex but are unable to find Seong Soo. They have to seperate when Seung Hoon possesses a security officer in order to check the surveillance cameras. Ki Joo enters the last apartment on his own. As he searches around, he’s shocked to see the missing person posters of his uncle in a box. He also sees Seong Soo’s dead body in a tub and realizes that the apartment belongs to someone related to prosecutor Lee after seeing a picture of him with a young boy. But he receives a huge shock when Detective Lee suddenly appears (Detective Lee is prosecutor Kim’s son?) and Ki Joo notices he’s been followed by the shadow of death.
While waiting at the amusement park, Han Bom suddenly recalls that there weren’t two people at the accident scene. They were actually three people. She begins to fear when she can’t reach Ki Joo. Suddenly, she sees him arrive and gets happy. But when she tries to hug him, he passes right through her. Meanwhile, Ki Joo is in the ambulance with Seung Hoon fighting for his life after being stabbed. His life support suddenly goes off and in that moment, Ki Joo apologizes to a confused Han Bom for going against his promise to never make her cry. The episode ends.
