After the kiss, Han Bom leaves with her pride intact but ends up completely embarrassed when Ki Joo walks behind her. Unable to bear the awkwardness, she turns round and asks why he’s following her but he replies it’s because of a scary ghost when it’s actually a child ghost. The two talk and Ki Joo draws a line between them saying they should remain professional until he leaves but Han Bom deems him a coward for leaving because he just might not know if he’ll end up liking her so much he would want to stay but Ki Joo says with absolute resoluteness that it would never happen.
At her house, she’s dying of embarrassment at Ki Joo’s rejection. Ji won who is running late for work is no help in comforting her.
One night, a young woman suffering from depression stands at a bridge ready to kill herself. Her life is a mess. Her boyfriend left her and she’s despised by her parents. She calls the help line to at least talk to someone before she dies. A man answers trying to convince her not to jump but she still decides otherwise. Just when she’s about to take the tragic leap, the man she had spoken with on the phone suddenly appears to stop her. (How on earth did he know where she was?)
He pleads with her, reminding her that she is breaking her promise to him to call him every Tuesday and Thursday. (Seems it wasn’t the first time she had spoken with him) He jumps over the ledge to meet with her and pulls her over. But just when he’s about to jump over himself, the woman seems to have seen something scary and completely looses it. He tries to get her help to jump over but she screams in fright and pushes him into the sea before running away.
Meanwhile, Ki Joo can’t get over the kiss he got from Han Bom. When he returns to the studio, he’s surprised to see that Han Bom has already set up her office station. Han Bom tells him that after winning her last case, she got a lot of offers but she can’t work in her friend’s office due to her fear of ghosts so she has to be close to Ki Joo. Of course, he refuses but Han Bom reminds him that his photo studio is illegal and she could report him if he doesn’t agree to her terms. She has Ki Joo sign a contract before leaving deciding to remain professional with him. Han Bom is inwardly proud of herself that she didn’t act desperate.
At Ji Won’s office, her boss abuses his power by making her do his son’s home work. Seung ho is upset at this as it reminds him or his tumultuous time with the irritating msn. He then possesses the body of a maid when the boss goes to the elevator. The maid aka Seungho indirectly insults him for making his staff do his children’s homeworks, saying it would affect their future. As the boss leaves, the maid posessed by Seung ho pours him dirty water which completely vexes him.
That night, Han Bom is having pizza with Seung ho and Baek Nam ku when Ki Joo comes in barking at the other two that he warned them not to eat in the studio due to the smell but when he realises Han Bom suggested it to celebrate her moving in, he can’t chastise her. Baek Nam ku is quick to notice that Ki Joo can’t look Han Bom in the eye. Seung ho notices and asks if something is going on between them. They even see he’s blushing but Ki Joo gets hyper yelling that it’s because of the safe zone. (Okay, overreacting.)
He tries to leave but Han Bom makes him sit close to her and eat which frightens the other two because their safe zone might affect them. Because of this, they have to sit apart. While they are all eating, they are watching that news where they see a video of a woman pushing her rescuer into the sea. However, Baek Nam ku notices that the woman seems too scared as if she had seen something she shouldn’t. The three prepare for work but Ki Joo refuses Han Bom entry reminding her not to cross the line but Han Bom is determined she would definitely cross that line of his.
In the studio, Seung ho notices Ki Joo’s foul mood and asks if something is going on between him and Han Bom. Ki Joo nearly admits it’s Han Bom kissed him but Baek Nam ku is quick to get the gist. Suddenly, the gate of the dead opens and everyone is surprised to see it’s the young man they saw from the tv who was pushed into the sea. He is ghostly and shivering as water drips from his body.
The three warm him up and take him to a room where they sit down to have a talk. His name is Choi Hoon and the woman who killed him was Na hyeon Joo. He had been her regular counselor at the suicide control center. He had never physically met her until that tragic day. However, they used to talk to each other every Tuesday and Thursday and he had helped her through her ups and downs. But on that particular day, he had traced her to stop her from killing herself but had no idea why she suddenly pushed him. He only wants to see her so she wouldn’t end up doing something foolish.
On his way to investigate, Ki Joo notices how close Han Bom and Choi Hoon are, getting instantly jealous when he holds her hand as he thanks her for taking up his customers cases at the suicide support center. But Ki Joo drags him away from Han Bom asking him what he was doing. Choi Hoon apologises for getting too close and leaves.
Ki Joo’s jealousy is apparent when he discovers Han Bom is taking Choi Hoon’s cases for free whereas she usually charges him. She triggers him more by saying it’s because Choi Hoon is handsome and sweet mannered unlike him who is always harsh to the ghosts. Ki Joo retorts that he treats the ghosts the best he can but then Han Bom tells him to respond to her offer the best he can as well causing Ki Joo to hide a smile when she leaves.
Ki Joo starts finding Na hyeon Joo but her apartment is empty. He then goes to the bridge where Choi Hoon had died to see if a ghost was responsible but he can’t sense anything out of the ordinary. However, he runs into the detective from before who is surprised at his appearance at the crime scene but he gives an excuse saying he was only going for a walk and enjoying the weather. (Right! At a crime scene. That makes sense) The detective is even more suspicious when Ki Joo asks him about Na hyeon Joo but seeing his flustered face, he leaves.
Ki Joo returns to the studio to find Seung ho teaching Choi Hoon and Han Bom ghost possession technique. Ki Joo’s mood sours when he sees Han Bom sitting close to each other. He forces them to be apart claiming she’s sitting on his seat. (Jealousy has no reason. Choi Hoon is a ghost!) But then all of a sudden, Choi Hoon turns pale and appears ghostly again. He starts shivering from cold and dripping with water. Seung ho takes him away to get him treated. Han Bom want to follow as well but Ki Joo stops her saying she should be careful because not all ghosts that come to the studio are the good ones. But Han Bom thinks he’s just being jealous but Ki Joo denies it. Then Han Bom says him not liking her is the reason he’s still leaving for Pitcairn island. That’s when Ki Joo reveals that it was his uncle that had wanted them to go to Pitcairn island but when he went missing twenty years ago, Ki Joo decided he would go alone instead. Han Bom feels sorry.
Ji won’s Boss gets highly violent with her when he discovered she had copied her own college thesis for his son. He demands that she redo the whole thing. (This man is trash. I don’t know why he doesn’t get reported to the higher ups already. He’s so damn annoying)
But Ji won is late for an appointment and rushes out of the office. Seung ho follows her thinking she’s going on a date but he’s surprised to find that it’s for her cancer appointment with her doctor. Apparently, she’s still doing well. The cancer doesn’t seem to be returning again. But Ji won says she’s experiencing something far worse than cancer at the moment, it’s her internship. The doctor warns her to take it easy so she doesn’t relapse. Ji won tells him that whenever she doesn’t want to come to the hospital, she thinks of it as a date and has strength. The doctor laughs at her comedic timing but Seung ho feels guilty knowing he had contributed to her tough times.
Ki Joo finally finds Nam hyeon Joo and asks her to tell him her own side of the story which she does.
Ki Joo returns to the studio to take one last picture of Choi Hoon so he could go to the nether world. Choi Hoon asks Ki Joo if he had found Nam hyeon Joo but he says he hasn’t. However, he points out to Choi Hoon that he mentions Nam hyeon Joo’s name as if he is already very familiar with her when according to him he had only met her once and that was on the day he died. He then reveals he knows the truth about who he really was. It turns out Choi Hoon was actually Nam hyeon Joo’s stalker who constantly harassed her. Nam hyeon Joo told Ki joo that everyday, Choi Hoon would send her the same type of shoes with both their inscriptions on it.
He was madly obsessed with her and even had access to her apartment. it drove her crazy because she had no idea who he was. He did this constantly. That was why on that day when he ‘saved’ her, she saw him wearing the exact same shoes he always sent her. She recognized him immediately so pushed him into the sea out of fear.
Having realised that Ki Joo has already discovered his true intentions, Choi Hoon blatantly tells him that Nam hyeon ju can only be happy with him. He yells at Ki Joo to tell him her address but he refuses so Choi Hoon turns into an evil spirit and attacks him. But Baek Nam ku and Seungho arrive at that moment. Baek Nam ku and Choi Hoon start fighting breaking doors and causing destruction but Choi Hoon manages to escape from him and disappears.
Ki Joo gets worried and starts calling Han Bom until she picks up but it isn’t her who answers. It’s Choi Hoon who had posessed Han Bom’s body. He tells Ki Joo that Han Bom’s survival depends on him and cuts the call.
The episode ends.
