However, after his uncle mysteriously disappeared, he became the seventh owner of the camera but unfortunately, like all the other males in his family, he would soon die as he was nearing his thirty-fifth birthday.
Now, after meeting Han Bom at the studio, Ki Joo is stunned when she insists she’s alive. He thinks she may be deluded, not knowing she was actually dead but when he shakes her hand, he’s surprised by how warm it is. He can even see her shadow on the ground, a big indicator that she isn’t a ghost. Shocked, Ki Joo immediately pushes her out of the studio. However, she almost falls but when he catches her by the waist, a small burst of attraction shifts between them but Ki Joo ignores it and continues to push her until she is out the door. Han Bom begs him for his phone to call someone. When he gives it to her, she’s speechless when she notices he has no contact. She then calls her grandma but she doesn’t answer, making Han Bom embarrassed. Afterwards, she talks badly about the person who moved into her former apartment, calling them a moron who packed up all her things outside.
Ki Joo clarifies he’s the moron she’s talking about but says it was her grandma who kept all her things out, not him. Despite her pleas, he still pushes her out of the house.
The next morning, Ki Joo is still bothered by Han Bom and is unable to sleep. He hears her call from outside. When he meets her, he’s surprised when she tells him she’s suing him for trespassing but then her grandmother arrives and embarrasses her for not paying rent for the past three months. Unfortunately for Han Bom, this makes Ki Joo not to take her seriously.
Later that day, Han Bom laments to her friend on a video call. Her friend is far away in paris. Han Bom regrets not following her while she had the chance. Her friend then encourages her to do whatever she can to get back her place.
Ki Joo tells Go seung ho and Baek Nam gu about Han Bom and they find it impossible for a human to enter the studio. They bring up all sorts of reasons but none seems to add up.
A troublesome child ghost pays them a visit. The boy is so lively that Go seung ho gets exhausted because of him. However, Ki Joo tells him he has experienced two months of child babysitting hell during his first time as a photographer. Then we flashback to a teenage Ki Joo getting disturbed by a small female ghost.

Suddenly, he sees Han Bom and immediately recognizes her as his chatting partner, the woman he loves. He immediately starts to chase after her, even after his spirit was ejected from the handsome man’s body but he is unable to catch up with her. However, now he’s filled with hope of seeing her again.
Ki Joo comes back to his apartment to see that Han Bom has set up a tent outside. She tells him she had bought it to go on a picnic with her boyfriend who dumped her. However, Ki joo doesn’t care to know that detail. But he gets surprised when he sees the child ghost inside the tent. He is even more surprised when he notices that Han Bom can see him as well. When Ki Joo demands that the boy follow him, he bites him in fear and runs away leaving Han Bom to run after him. Ki Joo is completely shocked.

Ki Joo then meets with Han Bom at a restaurant. He asks her how it was possible she could see the ghost child and open the door to the studio. However, Han Bom has no idea what he’s talking about, insisting that she naturally did those things. She then questions him herself on how he knew about Jang bora and made her talk after his visit. However, Ki Joo can’t really talk about it. But he’s surprised when Han Bom tells him to hurry up because the child was leaving in three days (when the gates of death would be closed)
Han Bom notices how awkward Ki Joo is while eating so she offers to keep him company whenever he wants to eat. When they leave, Han Bom starts to follow him. Ki Joo asks why she’s following him, Han Bom insists she’s going to her grandmother’s home. Then she gives him a coupon to the restaurant before walking away
Throughout that day, Ki Joo keeps staring at the coupon wondering how Han Bom could see ghosts. Just then, Seun ho meets him with good news. He has found someone who would sell them the sword.
The three arrive at a festival with Yoon Hae, the ghost kid. Ki Joo goes to meet with the seller. However, Baek Nam gu gets distracted by fireworks and ends up losing Yoon Hae. He and Seun ho start searching for him.

Ki Joo wonders why he’s scared. It is then that Seun ho and Baek Nam gu appear with the real Yoon Hae. To everyone’s surprise, the boys were twins. Ki Joo now understands that Han Bom can’t really see ghosts because she was actually seeing the living child. Seun ho is happy to see Han Bom again, thinking this is their fate.
At home, Ki Joo gets answers from Yoon Hae. The other twin is his brother Yoon Dal and he had actually bought the sword for him. Alone in the house, Ki Joo wonders why he feels disappointed that Han Bom isn’t like him. Yoon Hae suddenly appears to him and tells him how he wants to give the sword to his brother for his birthday.
Meanwhile,Yoon dal is getting ready to leave the orphanage as he packs his things. He asks permission from the caretaker to take Yoon hae’s little school bag with him and the woman consents. Yoon dal opens his locker and when he sees the sword in there, he breaks down crying. Yoon hae appears to comfort him but as he’s unable to touch him, he breaks down crying as well.
Han Bom is reading through several court cases when she suddenly remembers Ki Joo who was asking her desperately if she is seeing someone around him. Han Bom suddenly doesn’t understand why she feels guilty for being unable to see whatever it was he was seeing. However, to her surprise, Ki Joo suddenly arrives with two officers to evict her for illegal squatting. Han Bom is shocked, thinking they had grown closer but despite her begging, Ki Joo ignores her.
Next, we see Ki Joo and a woman who has been possessed by Seun ho enter the orphanage to ask about adopting Yoon dal. However, the caretaker informs them that Yoon dal was already getting adopted and would be traveling abroad. Unfortunately, they have to leave because ten minutes have passed and Seun ho would be ejected from the woman’s body. This happens and the woman is confused as she runs off. Then Ki Joo and Seun ho spot Yoon dal sitting alone with the sword and Yoon hae watching him worried that he isn’t playing. Ki joo sits down with Yoon hae and the boy expresses his worry that his brother would be alone but Ki Joo tries to convince him that won’t happen. His brother would find a superhero to protect him just like he did with his uncle.
We see a flash back to how Yoon hae died. His piggy bank which he had wanted to use to buy Yoon Dal the sword had broken in the street crossing and while trying to pick up the coins, he was hit by the reckless driver.
Ki Joo approaches Yoon Dal offering to help him meet his brother. At first Yoon Dal is cautious but after Ki joo embarasses himself by performing a childish sign that only Yoon Dal and Yoon hae know, he finally agrees and that night, Ki Joo takes Yoon hae to the photo studio to celebrate his birthday. Yoon Dal is filled with mixed emotions when he finally sees Yoon hae, apologizing that it was his fault, the reason why died was because he wanted to get him the sword. The two brothers hug and Yoon hae promises that they will be reunited after he finishes with his mission.
Meanwhile, Han Bom gets curious about the light emitting from the studio. She knows that Ki joo never has customers so she doesn’t understand what he might really be doing. When she tries to go in, the door to the studio is locked. Han Beom tries to barge inside when the orphanage caretaker calls to inform her that Yoon Dal was missing. He was last seen with a young man. Meanwhile, Yoon Hae has finally disappeared and his soul left through the gate of death leaving Yoon Dal a crying mess.
Han Bom and the caretaker at the orphanage are waiting desperately for Yoon Dal when he walks in with a photo of him and Yoon Hae along with the toy sword. He tells Han Bom that Ki joo helped him meet with his brother one last time.
That night, Ki joo is walking down the street when he is attacked by ghosts demanding for the camera. They gather around him, choking the life out of him. He is nearly hit by a bill board pushed by a ghost when Han Bom suddenly appears and pulls him out of danger but her presence repels the ghosts. Ki Joo mistakenly falls on top of her, his knife pointed at her chest when he notices the protective blue layer around her. He gets completely stunned and unable to believe his eyes.
